    Abstract: A pump housing device for a fluid pump comprises a rear wall element comprising a rear surface turned towards an impeller. The rear wall element comprises an opening defining a cylindrical surface along a longitudinal central axis. The opening receives a rotating drive shaft of the impeller. A static seal element has a plane seal surface that seals against a plane seal surface of a rotary seal element mounted to the drive shaft and rotating with the drive shaft. The plane seal surface of the static seal element is turned away from the rear surface. One or more grooves extend through the rear wall element and through the rear surface and the cylindrical surface. Each groove has a bottom line that extends from the rear surface to the cylindrical surface.

The connecting mechanism includes an annular body (24) that comprises an inner surface (24a) which, in an axial direction, is arranged at gradually decreasing radial distance from the shaft (23). The connecting mechanism comprises at least a clamping element (26) arranged in a space between the inner surface (24a) of the annular body and the shaft (23), and a displacement mechanism (27) adapted to displace the clamping member in said axial direction relative to the annular body (24) to a position in which the inner surface (24a) of the annular body presses the clamping element to the shaft.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a support ring for stabilizing an axle packing. The axle packing is presumed to include an axle-circumscribing element whose outer delimitation surface is essentially ring shaped. The support ring has an inner delimitation surface, which forms an opening for receiving the axle-circumscribing element. The support ring is adapted to be stationary mounted in an axle housing in such a manner that the inner delimitation surface of the support ring adjoins the ring shaped outer delimitation surface of the axle-circumscribing element with a gap thereto.
