    Abstract: A method is provided for routing data over a wireless communication link in a cellular network, the method being performed in an intermediate integrated access and backhaul, IAB, node. In some embodiments, dynamically adjusting the configuration of the communication network comprises controlling the communication network to provide latencies below a maximum latency threshold for the service. In some embodiments, the dynamic adjustment of the configuration of the communication network is based on the current traffic load.

If the at a traffic meets a requirement for the local breakout from the first network node, the method comprises forwarding the data traffic to a local application server of the local data network and receiving from the application server of the local data network, a selected part of the data traffic destined for the central application server.
