    Abstract: Furniture including a furniture body with an opening, a furniture lid for closing the opening and defining a lid plane, and a lid fitting including: a base element fixed to a side wall of the furniture body, a pivot arm pivotally attached to the base element, a pivot-arm-side connecting element pivotably connected to the pivot arm, a lid-side connecting element which has a mounting surface arranged parallel to the lid plane and which can be mounted on the pivot-arm-side connecting element by movement relative to the pivot-arm-side connecting element in an assembly direction parallel to the mounting surface, a ramp surface on one of the two connecting elements, which is arranged at an angle to the mounting surface, and a sliding element which is arranged on the other of the two connecting elements and slides along the ramp surface when the lid-side connecting element is moved in the assembly direction.
