Abstract: The freezing point of a liquid in a chilled liquid containment system is decreased by the addition of a mixture of sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate. Solutions of nitrite/nitrate in a ratio of 1.0:1 to 3.0:1 at a concentration of at least 25% lowers the freezing point of water to as low as ?33° C. or lower, permitting water to remain liquid well below its ambient freezing point and preventing pipes containing the nitrite/nitrate solution from bursting when exposed to subzero temperatures. This allows liquids to remain liquid at much lower temperatures than normal, allowing the circulation of the liquids at lower temperatures and protecting their containment systems from the damage that could occur when the liquids freeze into their solid state while within the containment systems.

The chat application automatically detects user activity and/or user inactivity external to the chat application and then automatically sets a user chat status value within the chat application based on the detected user activity and/or the detected user inactivity based on telephone line activity. Caller ID information associated with an incoming call with respect to one or more selected priority telephone numbers are screened. The chat application may automatically set the user's current chat status at a given time based on telephone line activity only if the caller ID information associated with the incoming telephone call matches a priority telephone number.

Work units are sent to a plurality of data processing systems on a network, wherein each data processing system within the plurality of data processing systems includes a software for accepting a work unit, processing the work unit to generate a result, and returning the result, wherein the software is monitored for compliance with an operation policy requiring a connection to the network and allocating a period of time for processing work units. Results are received from the plurality of data processing systems. These data processing systems may be individually owned by consumers in which the systems are provided at no cost or some lower cost in return for making available processing resources for processing work units.

Abstract: Land transportation vehicles using pneumatic tires loose air over time, including tractor trailers, private vehicles, race cars and other vehicle classifications. Tire pressure is important, but only a small number of attendants are concerned. Our invention is an automatic device which supplies air to tractor trailer tires using an onboard air supply. This air, supplied to the rotary air chamber system can be adjusted to a desired tire air pressure by the individual driver to suitable levels of load weights, climates, travel speed and terrain. Rotating tires at high speeds build up friction raising tire pressure to dangerous levels. This will be corrected by built in relief valves. To maintain and verify tire pressures each tire is protected by check valves and visible pressure gauges. The rotary air chamber automates, corrects continuously the neglect of proper tire maintenance, adds road safety for users and public alike.

An identification of a session is received from a data structure containing a schedule. In response to receiving the identification of the session, an audio file is created on a storage medium. In the illustrative examples, the storage medium is an optical disc. A track is created for the optical disc on which the file is located. The audio file has a length equal to a length of the session. The audio file includes a silent segment followed by an audio segment. The audio segment provides an indication of the end of the session when encountered during playing of the audio file.
