  • Patent number: 11275608
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for scalable job transformation and management are disclosed. A plurality of tasks expressed in a first format are received at a host. The tasks are associated with a shard identifier based at least in part on one or more criteria, and the tasks are acquired by the host based at least in part on the shard identifier. A subset of the tasks having a common characteristic are determined. The subset of the tasks are aggregated into a job expressed in a second format, where the job represents the subset of the tasks. The job is provided to a job manager, and the subset of the tasks are scheduled for processing using the job manager.

  • Patent number: 11061585
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system for executing one of a reboot and a startup process. A write I/O may be received at a DRAM cache. Data may be written to at least two different NVMe devices. When the data of the write I/O is completely written to the at least two different NVMe devices, a response may be sent to a driver layer.

  • Patent number: 10235104
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computing system for receiving an IO request for a RAID array. An actual queue depth of the RAID array is compared to a maximum queue depth for the RAID array. An IO queue weight is determined for the IO request. The IO queue weight is revised based upon a degrade mode condition for the RAID array, thus defining a revised IO queue weight. The actual queue depth is incremented based upon the revised IO queue weight.

  • Patent number: 4249238
Abstract: An improved gas turbine engine control system maintains a selected level of engine performance despite the failure or abnormal operation of one or more engine parameter sensors. The control system employs a continuously updated engine model which simulates engine performance and generates signals representing real time estimates of the engine parameter sensor signals. The estimate signals are transmitted to a control computational unit which utilizes them in lieu of the actual engine parameter sensor signals to control the operation of the engine. The estimate signals are also compared with the corresponding actual engine parameter sensor signals and the resulting difference signals are utilized to update the engine model. If a particular difference signal exceeds specific tolerance limits, the difference signal is inhibited from updating the model and a sensor failure indication is provided to the engine operator.
