  • Patent number: 9909818
Abstract: The disclosure presents a heat exchanger assembly having a first manifold, a second manifold spaced from the first manifold, a plurality of refrigerant tubes extending between and in hydraulic communication with the first and second manifolds, a plurality of corrugated fins inserted between the plurality of refrigerant tubes, and a condensate extractor having a comb baffle portion with fingers inserted between the plurality of refrigerant tubes and a conveyance portion. The comb baffle portion is configured to extract condensate from between the plurality of refrigerant tubes and the conveyance portion is configured to convey condensate away from the heat exchanger assembly.

  • Patent number: 9879923
Abstract: A face plumbing adapter having a block portion and a camber portion is provided for a manifold of a heat exchanger assembly. The block portion includes an external planar face, a first mating surface opposite that of the planar face, and an aperture having a B-axis extending through the planar face and first mating surface. The camber portion extends integrally from the block portion in a direction away from the planar face and curving inward toward the B-Axis. The camber portion is biased toward the block portion such that the face plumbing adapter would clinch onto the manifold. The block and camber portions include respective mating surfaces that are complementary to the exterior surface area of the manifold onto which the mating surfaces are affixed.

  • Patent number: 6957547
Abstract: A condensing unit that is adapted to receive compressors and condensers of varying dimensions. A base of the condensing unit supports a compressor having a predefined dimension and a condenser having a predefined dimension. The base includes a plurality of mounting mechanisms. The compressor engages one of the plurality of mounting mechanisms depending on the predefined dimension of the compressor. The base also defines a plurality of inner and outer support channels adjacent one another about a periphery of the base. The condenser is supported by one of the support channels depending on the predefined dimension of the condenser.
