  • Publication number: 20200262641
Abstract: A proppant delivery system for use at a hydraulic fracturing site to prepare a proppant mixture for subsequent delivery to a wellbore at the hydraulic fracturing site comprises two types of proppant storage containers, including silo type and box-like container type each of which normally has a dedicated system to dispense proppant, arranged in an array usually employed in a silo-only delivery system where parallel rows are formed and interrupted by a feed conveyor extending parallel to and disposed between the rows. A support stand carries the box-like container to one side of the feed conveyor with a bottom discharge of this container held at a spaced height above a ground surface.

  • Publication number: 20200199990
Abstract: A portable conveying apparatus for use in a hydraulic fracturing operation to transfer proppant from one or more storage containers storing said proppant to a blender where the proppant is prepared for subsequent delivery to a hydraulic fracturing wellbore comprises a frame, a conveyor supported on the frame and operable to transfer the proppant from a conveyor intake communicated with a storage container to a conveyor discharge communicated with the blender, a control system which is operatively coupled to the conveyor for controlling the conveyor to transfer the proppant therealong, and an operator cab mounted on the frame so as to be portable therewith for housing an operator using the control system to operate the conveyor. The operator cab is arranged to restrict passage of outside air into the operator cab and also so that an interior of the blender is visible to the operator when located therein.

  • Patent number: 10584003
Abstract: A portable drive-over conveyor is provided with a plurality of inlets and first and second conveyors so as to be arranged for simultaneously unloading multiple trucks side by side. Furthermore, the portable drive-over conveyor may be used in a system with another such drive-over conveyor in parallel to unload a truck having multiple discharges at each of the discharges by forming a bridge in between center structures of the drive-over conveyors allowing the truck to cross over the side by side drive-over conveyors and position the multiple discharges over the inlets of the side by side conveyors. Moreover, the second conveyor is swivably mountable on a frame of the drive-over conveyor such that particulate material is dischargeable at different locations angularly of a longitudinal axis of the trailer. The portable drive-over conveyor includes other novel features which are usable on a drive-over conveyor of the same type having at least one inlet.

  • Patent number: 10577198
Abstract: A portable drive-over conveyor for unloading particulate material from trucks features a towable trailer supporting a conveyor system having two stages, each transferring the unloaded material in opposite directions along a length of the trailer so as to progressively elevate the particulate material to a suitable height above the ground for discharging from the portable drive-over conveyor. A first stage of the conveyor system transfers the material in one direction from an inlet of the conveyor system to a transfer discharge, whereat the unloaded material is transferred to the second stage transferring the material in an opposite direction to a discharge of the overall conveyor system which is located at a higher elevation than the transfer discharge.

  • Patent number: 10414319
Abstract: A portable conveyor apparatus comprises a trailer arranged for towing behind a highway tractor with ramps which are positionable so that a dump truck may drive over the trailer and discharge particulate material into an inlet supported on a frame of the trailer. The conveyor apparatus features a first conveyor carried by the trailer frame so as to extend longitudinally thereof for carrying the particulate material along the trailer. The apparatus also features a second conveyor which is carried by the trailer frame adjacent the first conveyor for transferring the particulate material received and carried by the first conveyor to another location beyond the trailer. The second conveyor is positionable in a working position such as when it operates to convey the particulate material and in a transport position where the second conveyor lies within the periphery of the trailer frame during transportation.

  • Patent number: 10370205
Abstract: A portable conveying apparatus for transferring particulate material comprises a conveyor supported on a trailer frame and operable to convey the material for subsequent discharge to a target location. A housing mounted to the trailer frame and substantially covering a top of the conveyor defines at least one inlet for delivery of material from a container to the conveyor. A flexible chute communicating each inlet and a container discharge to guide the material to the apparatus housing is carried on the trailer frame in a storage position so as to be transportable therewith. Within the housing, an upper guide surface converges to a central grate disposed at a transversely offset location from the respective inlet for central depositing of the material onto the conveyor. A suspension arrangement is operable to raise and lower the trailer frame between transport and operating positions so that a bottom of the trailer frame can rest on the ground to inhibit the dust emanating during use.

  • Patent number: 9587370
Abstract: A tractor-mounted front loader includes a parking stand mounted to each of a pair of downwardly and forwardly inclined arm sections coupled to an implement resting on the ground. Each parking stand includes a support leg and a brace, the latter having a rear end pivotally mounted to a location approximately halfway between opposite ends of the support leg and an forward end pivotally mounted to a lower region of an associated loader arm section. The support leg and brace may be stored on the loader arm section by folding them together with a catch carried by the brace becoming releasably engaged with the support leg. The folded support leg and brace are then pivoted against the loader arm section and secured to it by a releasable latch which secures the top of the support leg to the arm section to establish a stored position.
