Abstract: An articulating body protective device for protection from impact-based injuries, especially relating to sports activities, is provided by a composite body protector having a fabric outer garment and protective elements, in particular soft elements and semi-rigid and rigid elements, that are selectively provided in predetermined locations within the outer garment for protecting vital organs and other body parts from injuries related to impact during sports or athletic activities.

Abstract: The invention provides a fish strike indicator releasably attached to a fishing line to indicate the direction a fish is swimming after it has taken the bait. The fish strike indicator includes a body and a connector and is releasably attachable to a fishing line for being suspended in air for sensing slack and tension in the line for multidirectional fish movement sensing and indication thereof. A releasable sensory indicator is present on the fish strike indicator to alert a fisherman by visual and/or audible means of a fish strike. Methods for using the fish strike indicator are also included.

Abstract: A zipper-assist device and methods for using the device for facilitating the process of zippering is described. In a preferred embodiment the zipper-assist device is a two-pronged device with a body part, a finger component, and at least one prong. The zipper-assist device is used to engage a zipper tab/flap or zipper head to open or close a zipper.

Abstract: A dual button and zipper assist device and a method for using the device for facilitating the processes of buttoning or zipping is described. In a preferred embodiment the button assist device is an independent element having a unitary body formed of preferably metal with a button hook and a connected open handle.
