  • Patent number: 11936112
Abstract: Provided herein are various enhancements for antenna systems and directed radio frequency energy structures. In one example, an apparatus includes an antenna array comprising a plurality of antenna elements formed by waveguide structures embedded within a substrate and positioned about a longitudinal axis of the substrate to form at least two concentric ring arrangements of antenna elements. Apertures of the waveguide structures are configured to emit or receive radio frequency (RF) energy generally along the longitudinal axis. Feed elements are coupled to each of the waveguide structures on an end opposite of the apertures, and configured to couple the RF energy for the antenna array.

  • Patent number: 10315554
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to boat trailers and, more particularly, to an improved, automatic, self-leveling floating guide-on post assembly mounted to a pontoon boat trailer. A pair of floating guide-on post assemblies are mounted on the rear member of a trader frame in the cavity between the pontoons of a pontoon boat. The floating guide-on post assemblies each include an upwardly extending cylindrical shaped exterior support tube, and a buoyant interior cylinder tube and wheel assembly adapted to contact and guide a pontoon during loading on and unloading off a boat trailer. The floating guide-on post assemblies include a mounting system comprised of U-shaped bolts and clamps that allow the guide-on post to be mounted to a pontoon boat trailer frame.

  • Publication number: 20110311372
Abstract: A membrane-based electroosmotic pump, having catalyst regions on electrodes, can pump a fluid without applying an external voltage. Chemical reactions of fluid components on the catalyst regions on the electrodes can induce an electric field that generates an electroosmotic flow through channels of the membrane. In one embodiment, a pump comprising platinum and gold electrodes can generate the flow of the fluid containing hydrogen peroxide through channels of the membrane. In another embodiment, a pump comprising gold electrodes, on which glucose oxidase and laccase are deposited, can generate the flow of the fluid containing glucose.

  • Patent number: 7339521
Abstract: Novel methods and structures are disclosed herein which employ pseudorandom sequences to spatially arrange multiple sources in a pseudorandom source array. The pseudorandom source array can replace the single source in analytical instruments relying on spatial separation of the sample or the probe particles/waves emitted by the sources. The large number of sources in this pseudorandom source array enhances the signal on a position sensitive detector. A mathematical deconvolution process retrieves a spectrum with improved signal-to-noise ratio from the detector signal.
