  • Patent number: 9573442
Abstract: A utility vehicle, cab ventilation system which includes a fan and a main filter located in the cab roof section with an upstream pre-filter mounted on the exterior of the cab roof. The pre-filter rotates about an axis parallel to air flow and centrifugally forces matter outward, effectively reducing material build up and frequency of service to the main filter within the roof section. The pre-filter can be built into a new cab ventilation system or provided in a module, for adding to existing cab ventilation systems.

  • Publication number: 20120137824
Abstract: An adjustable pedal (20) comprises a rotatable plate (24) for securing to the floor (22) of a vehicle cab, and a pedal module (26) comprising a pedal pad (30) which is pivotally mounted to a base element (32) which is rotatably mounted to the plate. The position of the pedal module can be adjusted by rotation of the plate relative to the pedal module and the floor.

  • Publication number: 20120108156
Abstract: A utility vehicle (10) comprising a ventilation system (30) which receives air from the environment, filters the air and supplies the filtered air into a cab (18). The system comprises a fan (54) to drive air through a channel from the environment to the cab, and a main air filter arranged within a roof section (24) of the cab and downstream of a pre-filter. The pre-filter (32;72) rotates about a rotation axis which is substantially parallel to the air flow through the pre-filter so as to reduce the particulate matter which reaches the main filter. The rotation of the pre-filter (32;72) creates a centrifugal force which forces the particulate matter radially outwardly to reduce the build-up of matter on the filter, thus reducing the frequency of servicing. The pre-filter can be integrated into a cab ventilation system or provided in a module which can be added to a vehicle having a conventional ventilation system.
