  • Patent number: 5545670
Abstract: This invention relates to a composition and method for the treatment of myalgic encephalomyelitis known as chronic fatigue syndrome. The composition consists essentially of specific amounts of L-methionine, magnesium salts, folic acid, vitamin B.sub.6, and vitamin B.sub.12.

  • Patent number: 5142732
Abstract: An attachment for an industrial vacuum machine is installed in the vacuum hose line and preferably supported by a boom on such machine. The attachment separates bulky items from finer materials passing through the hose. The separator includes a vacuum-tight casing containing baffles, a downward sloping bottom and a rotary vacuum air-tight valve which may be rotated to discharge bulk material into an underlying bin, truck or car without rehandling. Materials enter the separator chamber through a hose discharging into one side and exit through a second hose leading to the vacuum machine.

  • Patent number: 5125128
Abstract: A street sweeping machine is incorporated in an industrial vacuum machine. Extending transversely of the vehicle is a center casing in which a brush is rotated by a hydraulic motor. A vacuum intake hose is connected to the casing and leads to the vacuum machine. The casing may be raised and lowered between transport and working positions. On one or both sides of the vehicle are side or "curb sweeping" casings, likewise containing a hydraulically driven brush and connected to a vacuum intake hose. The curb sweeping casing is swivel mounted and spring biased outward to follow the curb on the street being swept. In the main centered casing are a hydraulically raised and lowered flap which improves the vacuum which can be drawn in the casing. Also provided is a stick breaker which breaks up large pieces of debris so that they may be drawn into the vacuum duct.

  • Patent number: 5120333
Abstract: Industrial vacuum machines such as those shown in U.S. Pat. No. 4,150,913 employ cloth filters in the last stage of separation of fine particles from the air stream. Such filter are cleaned inside the machine by vibration. In accordance with this invention, a baffle is movable between normal and recycling positions. In normal position the discharge of the vacuum impeller is discharged to the atmosphere. In recycling position the impeller discharge is diverted back into the primary separation chamber and then through the filters in order to remove dust and prevent its discharge to the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 4150913
Abstract: An improvement on Patent 3,651,621 has a blower construction using an impeller with backward curved blades for flow stability and high efficiency under varying conditions. The construction also resists the high stresses imposed by high speed and high flow velocities. A muffler for the discharge of the blower is provided.
