    Abstract: An installation is provided in a cargo area of a vehicle for the stowage of a vehicle jack and tools useful in the changing of a wheel of the vehicle. The installation includes a receptacle in a recess in a deck of the cargo area. The receptacle includes an open top container having space to accommodate the jack and the tools. A cover plate across the top of the container covers a portion of the top only, leaving an access opening through which the jack and the tools may be inserted into and removed from the space in the receptacle.

    Abstract: A test fixture to test for possible leakage past a seal between adjacent portions of two test panels. The test panels are supported on a housing in edge-to-edge relation across the open front of a chamber in a housing. The panels are moved toward the open front of the chamber so that the panels seal against the open front. The housing is supported in a cabinet. Liquid is discharged into the cabinet and directed against the seal. The housing has a rear wall which is visible through the cabinet and is constructed to enable viewing into the chamber to see whether the seal has leaked.

    Abstract: A vehicle door hinge assembly according to this invention has a hinge bracket for mounting on each of a door and a body pillar of a vehicle. Each hinge bracket has a pair of spaced-apart legs wherein the pair of legs of one hinge bracket is received within and adjacent the pair of spaced-apart legs of the other bracket when the hinge brackets are hingedly mated together. The hinge brackets have aligned holes formed through their respective pairs of legs through which a hinge pin is received to hingedly mate the two hinge brackets together. The improvement comprises the hinge pin having a threaded tip or end and one of the legs of the outer hinge bracket having a nut affixed thereto in coaxial relation to the hole formed therein, or a the hole therein being threaded, and the threaded end of the hinge pin screwed therein when the hinge pin is inserted in the holes in the respective pairs of legs of the hinge brackets to hingedly mate the hinge brackets together.
