    Abstract: Articles are wrapped in packaging film or foil by folding a sheet of film or foil round them. The film or foil is first folded round the article by four equi-spaced folding blades to leave four pleats of film or foil, and these pleats are then formed by second folding blades into neatly bunched ribs.
