  • Publication number: 20240075895
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for crash detection on one or more mobile devices (e.g., smartwatch and/or smartphone). In some embodiments, a method comprises: detecting, with at least one processor, a crash event on a crash device; extracting, with the at least one processor, multimodal features from sensor data generated by multiple sensing modalities of the crash device; computing, with the at least one processor, a plurality of crash decisions based on a plurality of machine learning models applied to the multimodal features; and determining, with the at least one processor, that a severe vehicle crash has occurred involving the crash device based on the plurality of crash decisions and a severity model.

  • Patent number: 7438305
Abstract: A tractor has a frame defined by two side rails extending longitudinally carried on ground wheels with a cab on the frame at one end and an engine compartment at the other end. The cab has doors on each side and there are provided two operator platforms each attached to the frame at a respective side with suitable ladder, guard rails and surface by which the operator can climb to the cab. Each operator platform is mounted for movement longitudinally of the frame on levers allowing movement along the side of the frame from the cab entry position to an engine service position. The platform can cover operator serviceable parts which in the cab position which are exposed when the platform is moved to the engine service position.

  • Patent number: 7077220
Abstract: A hydrostatic agricultural tractor has front ground wheels mounted on the frame at fixed angles parallel to each other and parallel to a center line of the frame and rear ground wheels mounted on a respective castor, with each of the front ground wheels being driven by a respective drive motor which allows variable speed in both the first and second directions such that steering of the tractor is effected by a differential in speed between the front wheels with the rear wheels following the steering in a castoring action. A pair of damper cylinders is provided each connected between a bracket on a rear axle of the frame and a lever in the castor plane of the castor so as to provide a damping force tending to restrict rotation of the respective second wheel about the respective vertical pivot axis with the damping force at a maximum value when the rear wheels are parallel to the center line in either the forward or reverse directions.

  • Patent number: 5242340
Abstract: An exercise apparatus for simulating stair climbing, stair hopping and downhill skiing is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base with a vertical support extending upwardly therefrom and a handrail supported by the vertical support. Two foot pedals are pivotally connected to the vertical support. Each foot pedal has a roller chain connected at one end to the foot pedal. A spring is connected between the other end of each roller chain and the foot pedal at a position spaced from the point of connection of the roller chain. The two roller chains are looped over drive chain sprockets which are rotatably mounted by clutch bearings on a shaft in spaced apart relation. The drive shaft extends through and is rigidly secured to a friction drum. A chord is looped around the drum between a spring bias and a length adjustable rod thereby forming a variable resistance mechanism. Depressing the foot pedals results in the clutch bearings engaging the shaft thereby rotating the friction drum.

  • Patent number: 4892032
Abstract: A portable cooking apparatus has a pair of longitudinally elongated stanchions, a spit rod support and a motor support bracket for supporting a drive motor with its power output shaft aligned with the spit rod. A mounting bracket connects the first spit rod support member and the motor support bracket and provides freedom of movement of the motor support bracket with respect to the spit rod support member about pitch and yaw axes which serve to permit the motor support bracket to move with respect to its associated stantion to be aligned with the power output shaft of the motor and the spit rod in use.
