  • Patent number: 10775647
Abstract: An imaging system captures one or more images at a time when a subject is comfortably wearing a pair of glasses with dummy lenses. The subject's face is illuminated by energy sources (e.g. visible light sources), and specular reflections (“glints”) from the dummy lenses used to measure the locations the dummy lens(es). This provides information about how the comfortable positions for glasses on the subject's face, which can be used to design and fabricate personalized glasses.

  • Publication number: 20200169942
Abstract: A wireless network comprises nodes, including routers having a tree-shaped communication topology and end devices, communicate in accordance a network protocol, wherein the routers transmit beacons in respective timeslots within a periodic beaconing interval, passively scan for messages, and, in response to receiving a message, transmit an acknowledgement thereof the received message. An end device that has a message that is pending transmission, passively scans for beacons transmitted from any router; and in response thereto, transmits the message, and passively scans for an acknowledgement, repeating those steps if no acknowledgement is received. This provides responsivity in an environment having rapidly changing propagation paths. To reduce power consumption, the end devices do not passively scan for beacons except when they have a message that is pending transmission, and also at predetermined times for reception of a downstream message.

  • Publication number: 20200117703
Abstract: Methods and systems for modifying display of applications displayed on local computing devices are described herein. A local computing device may request, from a remote application server, one or more remote applications. The local computing device, user of the remote computing device, and/or the one or more applications may be associated with layout preferences. The layout preferences may be based on a location of the local computing device, a device type and/or device properties of the local computing device, or other similar context information. Display of the one or more remote applications may be modified based on the layout preferences. A user may alter display of the one or more remote applications, and the layout preferences may be modified.

  • Publication number: 20200117579
Abstract: Debugger requests are for debugging a script injected into a web application during a debug session are received. Each of the debugger requests include the same debug session identifier. A different one of the debugger requests is associated with each of the break points set for debugging the script. For each of the debugger requests: a new stateless debugger node is connected with a single stateless target tester node. Stateless debugger nodes and stateless target tester nodes reside inside of the multi-node cloud system. The script is debugged on the same stateless target tester node while the debugging is controlled from a developer computer system that is outside of the multi-node cloud system. After completion of each of the debugger requests: a current stateless debugger node is disconnected, and state stored in the multi-node cloud system used for servicing a current debugger request is destroyed.

  • Patent number: 10609741
Abstract: A disclosed wireless tunneling system tunnels communications between two processing apparatuses through a wireless link, while maintaining compliance of the communications between the two processing apparatuses with a wired communication protocol. In one embodiment, the wireless tunneling system includes two wireless tunneling apparatuses that communicate with each other through the wireless link. A local wireless tunneling apparatus is coupled to a local processing apparatus through a wired connection and a remote wireless tunneling apparatus is coupled to the remote processing apparatus through another wired connection. • Patent number: 10575350
Abstract: A disclosed wireless tunneling system tunnels communications between two processing apparatuses through a wireless link, while maintaining compliance of the communications between the two processing apparatuses with at least two different wired communication protocols. • Patent number: 10545853
Abstract: A debug session identifier representing a debug session for the web application is stored in local storage. The web application is located in multi-node cloud storage. The local storage resides on a developer computer system that executes outside of the multi-node cloud system. A stateless debugger node and a stateless target tester node are selected from at least one node pool in the multi-node cloud system. The stateless debugger node and the stateless target tester node are separate from each other. An internal connection is provided between the stateless debugger node and the stateless target tester node within the multi-node cloud system based on the debug session identifier during the debug session. The script that is injected into the web application is debugged while the web application executes on the stateless target tester node.

  • Publication number: 20200014910
Abstract: A three-dimensional model of the skin of an animal, is formed by capturing at least one first two-dimensional (2-D) image of a portion of the skin of an animal located in an imaging region of an imaging assembly and illuminated with certain lighting conditions; using the first 2-D image to determine whether the skin of the animal has been correctly scruffed; and if so, form a 3-D image of the skin of the animal using at least one second 2-D image of the skin of the animal captured under different lighting conditions. Preferably the second 2-D image is captured using the same energy sensor which captured the first 2-D image.
