  • Publication number: 20230267499
Abstract: One of the most challenging problems that marketing professionals face is measuring the effect of advertising campaigns on the sales of a product. One of the main causes of poorly allocated spend is incorrect analysis of advertising campaign effectiveness. Introduced here is an approach to determining advertising campaign effectiveness in a more accurate, dependable manner using machine learning to extract the true effect of an advertising. This approach can be implemented by a data analysis platform that is able to train a machine learning algorithm using company-specific data as part of a training operation, as well as implementing the resulting machine learning model as part of an inferencing operation.

  • Patent number: 6380683
Abstract: A socket and light bulb assembly utilizing magnetic coupling including a socket portion having a generally cylindrical configuration. The socket portion has a first end and a second end. The first end has a recess extending inwardly thereof. The recess is defined by a smooth interior surface. The recess has a magnetic disk disposed at a bottom thereof. The socket portion has a contact disposed thereon. The socket portion includes wiring in communication with the contact for being coupled with an electrical source. A light bulb portion is provided that is adapted for coupling with the socket portion. The light bulb portion includes an upper light portion and a lower stem portion. The lower stem portion is dimensioned for being received within the recess of the socket portion. The lower stem portion is defined by a smooth exterior surface. The lower stem portion has a contact disposed therein whereby the contact of the socket portion connects with the contact of the light bulb portion to complete a circuit.

  • Patent number: 4526544
Abstract: A method of sealing a tooth's root canal using cyanoacrylate solution. A tooth undergoing endodontic treatment must have the pulp tissue removed and the canal cleansed and shaped. It then receives a coating of a cyanoacrylate solution to its walls. When hardened, this solution seals the dentinal tubules lining the walls of the root canal and lateral canals, when present, thus preventing communication from the canal to the periodontal membrane. When the apical foramen remains small, it also may be sealed to prevent the passage of fluids and microorganisms to the adjacent area. Including a component which renders the cyanoacrylate solution opaque to X-rays will permit examination throughout the endodontic procedure. The sealing solution may include methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, isopropyl alpha, or normal-butyl cyanoacrylate of medical grade purity.

  • Patent number: 4204329
Abstract: The present invention comprises a frame to hold a rubber dam for use during dental surgery. The frame is substantially U-shaped in configuration and convex so as to generally follow the contours of the face. A hinge is positioned in the center of the bottom of the U so that the side frames may individually pivot toward each other or may be brought together. Detent means are positioned on the external surface of the bottom of the frame so that when the vertical members of the frame are pivoted to each other they may be secured together in this folded position. Barbed means are provided on the frame to hold the rubber dam when the frame is in use. In use, the rubber dam is secured to the barbed means on the frame and the frame is placed over the patient's face. An opening is made in the rubber dam and the rubber dam is then clamped to or about the tooth which is to be treated.

  • Patent number: 4028329
Abstract: An improved bulk polymerization of vinyl halide is disclosed wherein reactor scale formation is substantially reduced by polymerizing in a single or two stage bulk process a vinyl halide monomer containing up to 50% of a comonomer in contact with a combination of a polyolefin, water, and an inert fine particle size additive which is a solid at the reaction temperature, or water and said additive, optionally in the presence of a surface active agent. Compositions produced by the process of the invention are useful in making films, coated fabrics and molded objects.

  • Patent number: 3933771
Abstract: Polyvinyl chloride and polyvinyl chloride containing up to 20 percent of a comonomer can be obtained in the form of small particle size spherical glassy surface particles by a process of bulk polymerization of monomer or monomers comprising two stage polymerization wherein high shear agitation is used during the first stage and low shear agitation is used in the second stage. To obtain a reduction in particle size, the polymerization in the first stage is conducted in contact with at least one of (A) an additive comprising an organic or inorganic, inert, fine particle size material solid at least at reaction temperatures, and insoluble in said monomer or monomers used, and (B) a cationic, anionic, or non-ionic surface active agent. A portion of the polymerization in a second stage reaction is conducted at temperature and pressure sufficient to render the surface of the individual particles or agglomerates glassy and fused.
