  • Patent number: 10540185
Abstract: Disaggregated computing architectures, platforms, and systems are provided herein. In one example, a method of operating a data processing system is provided. The method includes instructing a PCIe fabric communicatively coupling a plurality of physical computing components including one or more central processing units (CPUs), one or more storage modules and one or more PCIe switches to establish a first PCIe communication path between the management processor and a storage module of the one or more storage modules. The method also includes storing at least an operating system to the storage module using the first PCIe communication path and instructing the PCIe fabric to remove the first PCIe communication path between the management processor and the storage module. Moreover, the method includes instructing the PCIe fabric to establish a second PCIe communication path between a CPU of the one or more CPUs and the storage module comprising the operating system.

  • Patent number: 10478619
Abstract: Anchoring devices and methods for affixing an implanted lead of a neurostimulation system at a target location in a patient are provided herein. Such anchoring devices includes a helical body having a plurality of tines extending laterally outward from the lead when deployed that engage tissue to inhibit axial movement of the implanted lead. The plurality of tines are biased towards the laterally extended deployed configuration and fold inward towards the lead to a delivery configuration to facilitate delivery of the lead through a sheath. The tines may be angled in a proximal direction or in both proximal and distal directions and may include various features to assist in visualization and delivery of the lead. The anchor may be formed according to various methods, including laser cutting of a tubular section along with heat or reflow to set the material with the anchor in the deployed configuration and injection molding.

  • Patent number: 10422723
Abstract: A fixture for testing stiffness of a vehicle wheel by measuring vibration of the wheel includes a base and a retention member. The retention member is integral to the base. The retention member defines a distal end including a distal diameter and a proximal end being proximate to the base and including a proximal diameter. The proximal end includes a plurality of studs extending upwardly therefrom for being received by lug apertures defined by the vehicle wheel thereby securing the vehicle wheel to the retention member. The distal diameter includes a ratio to the proximal diameter of between 0.6 to 0.8 to one.

  • Publication number: 20190255339
Abstract: Devices and methods for providing neurostimulation to a patient, particularly in trial systems assesssing suitability of a permanently implanted neurostimulation, are provided herein. In one aspect, a trial neurostimulation lead includes a coiled conductor coupled to a proximal contact connector having a retention flange that withstands tensile force from tension in the lead so as to maintain the electrical connection during a trial period. In another aspect, a trial neurostimulation system includes a lead extension that includes a regression stopper between the implanted distal connector and proximal lead disposed outside the body to prevent regression of the lead through a secondary incision, thereby preventing infection and facilitating explant of the system. Methods of assembling and utilizing such leads and systems are detailed herein.

  • Patent number: 10385510
Abstract: A seamless press felt is provided having inner and outer base fabric layers, which can be woven or non-woven, having an MD length and CD width, each including at least a first array of MD oriented yarns and being formed as a continuous unbroken tube structure. An elastic intermediate yarn assembly with parallel and regularly spaced CD yarns, each bonded to an elastic carrier material, is formed as a continuous unbroken tube structure, and is “socked” between the inner and outer base fabric layers. The elastic intermediate yarn assembly has an MD length that is from 1% to 10% less than the MD length of the press felt prior to assembly and is elastically stretched during assembly between the inner and outer base fabric layers. At least one batt layer needled through the inner and outer base fabric layers and the elastic intermediate yarn assembly to fornt he press felt.
