Publication number: 20230417926Abstract: A system and method are described for mitigating the jamming or spoofing of information that is used in a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) geolocation system, such as the Global Positioning System (GPS). In an area of interest where accurate geolocation information is critical—for example, at an airport, harbour, or other locations where accurate navigation is critical—several receiving stations having known and pre-determined geolocations are positioned. These receiving stations receive location signals from a constellation of geolocation satellites, and send the information about received signals to a central processing hub. The processing hub includes facilities to compare location information received by a particular receiving station and to determine whether the location information received by that receiving station from a particular satellite is consistent with known location information about that receiving station.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2020Publication date: December 28, 2023Inventor: Peter Henry Mueller

Patent number: 7981236Abstract: A method and a device for bonding at least two sheets, is disclosed. The sheets may be joined by a groove and are connected to each other at least in one contact area in the sheet surface of the first sheet. The sheets may first be shaped whereby the first sheet may be shaped with at least one hook which forms an angle with the sheet surface and the second sheet may be shaped with at least one groove and one leg. The hook may be accommodated by the groove and the leg may be substantially parallel to the contact area of the first sheet. The shaped sheets are then bonded to each other, whereby the hook is inserted in the groove and the leg is bonded to the contact area.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 2009Date of Patent: July 19, 2011Assignee: Lisa Dräxlmaier GmbHInventors: Henry Müller, Robert Magunia, Christian Schlemmer, Mand Khosrow Afzalian, Christoph Riester

Patent number: 7810836Abstract: An airbag cover, in particular for use in motor vehicles, is disclosed. In one embodiment, the airbag cover includes a molding and a visible cover of leather or leather-like material covering the molding, where at least one layer of a material that is softer than the material of the molding is disposed between the molding and the visible cover. The visible cover has a partial weakening and the transition from the weakened area to the non-weakened area is designed constant. A method for covering a molding disposed above an airbag with a partially weakened visible cover is also disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes introducing a weakened area into leather or leather-like material forming the visible cover on the side of the visible cover facing away from the visible side. The transition from the weakened area to the non-weakened is designed constant. At least one layer of a material that is softer than the material of the molding is applied on the molding.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2006Date of Patent: October 12, 2010Assignee: Lisa Draxlmaier GmbHInventors: Henry Müller, Rudolf Aichner

Patent number: 7625004Abstract: A motor vehicle trim element having weakened areas for an airbag deployment opening is provided. The layered construction of the trim element includes a carrier layer, a spacer layer laminated thereto and a decorative layer. A weakened area of the decorative layer is not visible from the outside. An additional layer of material, made of, for example, a plastic film, is located between the spacer layer and the decorative layer to reduce the likelihood of the weakened area becoming visible from the outside, even under thermal and/or mechanical stress. The additional layer of material may also include a weakened area.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2006Date of Patent: December 1, 2009Assignee: Lisa Draelmaier GmbHInventors: Hubert Geltinger, Roland Friedberger, Henry Müller

Patent number: 7380813Abstract: A flexible airbag flap of an airbag module, in particular for use in motor vehicles, where the airbag module is arranged on a frame, preferably a metal frame, connected with a decor carrier of an instrument panel, and attached to the decor carrier but not to a cross member supporting the instrument panel. The flexible airbag flap can essentially be supported by the airbag arranged in the airbag module. The decor carrier is designed as one piece with the flexible airbag flap and in the area of the flexible airbag flap has a reduced wall thickness. Also disclosed is a method for production of such a flexible airbag flap with the steps of arranging the frame and preferably an additional layer covering the frame in a forming tool, and connecting the frame with a material, preferably a foaming material, that forms the decor carrier and the flexible airbag flap.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2005Date of Patent: June 3, 2008Assignee: Lisa Dräxlmaier GmbHInventors: Marcus Lanzinger, Bernd Sachtleben, Henry Mueller, Herbert Ziegler, Thomas Winterhoff, Christian Schlemmer
