  • Publication number: 20090126074
Abstract: A reinforced glove includes a substrate, typically in the form of a shell having the shape of a human hand, and a protective coating disposed on the substrate to form a composite therewith. The shell and any integral or non-integral reinforcing elements are at least partially covered by the protective coating, which penetrates such reinforcing elements to thereby improve the bond between the shell and reinforcing elements, whereby the durability, strength and grippability of the glove are enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20060086678
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for holding and facilitating the unloading therefrom of packaged merchandise onto a display peg. More particularly, the device includes a substantially rigid member for holding a group of packages together. The member has opposing ends and is sized and shaped so as to pass through hanging holes provided in the packages. The member also has a generally uniform cross-section along its entire axial length and includes an opening extending through the member between the opposing ends. The opening is provided with a size which is substantially greater than a cross-sectional area of the display peg so as to facilitate the insertion of the display peg into the opening through one of the opposing ends for permitting the packages to be placed onto the display peg with the aid of the member. The present invention also relates to a method for loading the packages onto the display peg using the device.

  • Publication number: 20060005295
Abstract: A rubber or latex glove includes monolithically formed pleats incorporated into the knuckles and/or finger joints, and along the length of the sides of the fingers. Whether the glove is in either a relaxed or flexed state, the pleats conform to the contours of the hand, providing a flush but relaxed fit. When the glove is flexed, the pleats become wider to effectively increase the size of the glove without stretching the material from which it is made.

  • Publication number: 20050229287
Abstract: The present invention relates to a glove having a body made from an elastomeric material and sized and shaped so as to receive a wearer's hand. The body has a cuff portion including a first end, which is connected to the body, and a second end, which is positioned opposite the first end. The cuff portion includes an annular ridge formed thereon and expandable radially outwardly so as to facilitate the insertion of a wearer's hand into the body. The ridge is positioned between the first and second ends such that at least one section of the cuff portion positioned adjacent the second end can be folded over another section of the cuff portion positioned adjacent the first end so as to form an open pocket, whereby materials falling from the body during the use of the glove can be caught by the pocket. In order to make the glove of the present invention, an annular projection is formed on a former.
