Abstract: Example data management systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a data management system includes a carbon key configured to store at least one authentication factor associated with a user. The system also includes a hardware wallet configured to communicate with the carbon key. The hardware wallet includes a fingerprint sensor configured to scan a fingerprint of the user, a display configured to receive a personal identification number (PIN) from the user; and a system on chip (SOC) configured to authenticate the carbon key, the fingerprint, and the PIN. Additionally, the SOC can sign a transaction based on authentication of at least two of the carbon key, the fingerprint, and the PIN.
