Patent number: 12262450Abstract: Embodiments identify a station that rotates an over the air station address. As address rotation was not originally designed into wireless networks, the rotation can introduce communication challenges for the station. The embodiments derive that traffic referencing two different over the air station addresses are associated with a single common station. This is accomplished by determining a similarity between properties of two sets of traffic. A first set of traffic references the first over the air station address and a second set of traffic references the second over the air station address. If the properties common across the two sets of traffic indicate sufficient similarity, the embodiments determine that both sets of traffic are associated with a single device. Network configuration of the device is then adjusted based on the determination.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2023Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: CISCO TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: Jerome Henry, Nancy Cam-Winget, Simone Arena, Darrin Joseph Miller, Sudhir Kumar Jain, Einar Nilsen-Nygaard

Patent number: 11788232Abstract: A method of making a fabric-creped absorbent cellulosic sheet. The method includes compactively dewatering a papermaking furnish to form a web having a consistency of about thirty percent to about sixty percent, creping the web under pressure in a creping nip between a transfer surface and a structuring fabric, and drying the web to form the absorbent cellulosic sheet. The absorbent sheet has SAT capacities of at least about 9.5 g/g and at least about 500 g/m2. A creping ratio is defined by the speed of the transfer surface relative to the speed of the structuring fabric, and the creping ratio is less than about 25%.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 2021Date of Patent: October 17, 2023Assignee: GPCP IP Holdings LLCInventors: Daniel Hue Ming Sze, Xiaolin Fan, Hung-Liang Chou, Taiye Philips Oriaran, Farminder Singh Anand, Dean Joseph Baumgartner, Joseph Henry Miller

Patent number: 11743052Abstract: Current systems for data authentication, such as in the course of financial transactions to comply with anti-money laundering and know-your-customer legislation, are burdensome and inefficient for banks and their clients. A platform of some embodiments provides a system for utilizing distributed ledger technologies, such as a blockchain data structure residing on a distributed ledger. A client may use this blockchain data structure to register the client's personal information in a data object that then may be routed to specific identified trusted individuals who verify that the information in the data object is correct. Once verification is complete, the client or other trusted individuals may use the data object as necessary to register the client for various programs or services, such as additional bank services.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2021Date of Patent: August 29, 2023Assignee: Royal Bank of CanadaInventors: Karim Talal Hamasni, Charles Plant St. Louis, Graham Henry Miller, Atilla Murat Firat, Ugobame I. Publication number: 20210090154Abstract: Techniques for intelligently predicting which items a user will add to an electronic shopping cart are disclosed. An item is added to an electronic shopping cart of a user. Natural language processing (NLP) determines a general product category and supporting product details of the item. The general product category and the supporting product details are used as parameters in a query executed against a database, which links the item to other items based on shared characteristics between the item and those other items. A result of the query identifies those linked items. Based on an identified characteristic associated with the user, the items included in the query result are filtered to generate a list of proposed items for potential inclusion in the electronic shopping cart. This list is displayed to the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2020Publication date: March 25, 2021Inventors: Henry Miller Michaelson, Frederick Lafayette Columbus Wedgeworth III, Gabriel Alvaro Nipote, Spencer Harrison Price
