  • Patent number: 11873932
Abstract: A pipe joint for joining pipe sections via a receiving recess at one end of the first pipe section including a first groove formed in an internal wall of the receiving recess and accessible via a transverse insertion passage, a plurality of axially spaced-apart second grooves formed in an external wall of a connection end of the second pipe section, and an elongate flexible anchoring strip including a plurality of axially spaced-apart anchoring portions placeable in respective ones of the second grooves, wherein, once the first and plurality of second grooves have been brought into alignment upon insertion of the connection end of the second pipe section into the receiving recess, the anchoring strip is inserted from outside the first pipe section into the first groove and plurality of second grooves so as to be seated therein, thereby uniting and axially locking together the first and second pipe sections.

  • Publication number: 20220016861
Abstract: A 3D printed structure of an elastic material having a first wall and a second wall may be provided. In one implementation, the 3D printed structure may include a first layer having a first portion of a first wall part and a first portion of a second wall part. The first portion of the first wall part may include a primary structural layer and the first portion of the second wall part may include a first flexible layer. The 3D printed structure may also include a second layer having a second portion of the first wall part and a second portion of the second wall part. The second portion of the first wall part may include a second flexible layer. The primary structural layer and the first flexible layer may have a first rigidity and a second rigidity, respectively, the first rigidity being greater than the second rigidity.

  • Publication number: 20220007785
Abstract: A 3D printed structure of an elastic material may be provided. In one implementation, the 3D printed structure may include at least a first wall having a plurality of layers extending along a first axis. The first wall may include at least a primary structural layer, a first flexible layer, and a second flexible layer. The primary structural layer may have a first rigidity and at least one of the first flexible layer or the second flexible layer may have a second rigidity, the first rigidity being greater than the second rigidity.

  • Publication number: 20220000216
Abstract: A 3D printed structure of an elastic material having at least a first layer and a second layer may be provided. In one implementation, the 3D printed structure may include at least a first wall having a primary structural layer and a first flexible layer, and at least a second wall having a secondary structural layer and a second flexible layer. An axis of the 3D printed structure may intersect the first layer and the second layer and may intersect the primary structural layer and the secondary structural layer. The primary structural layer may have a first rigidity and the first flexible layer may have a second rigidity, the first rigidity being greater than the second rigidity.

  • Patent number: 10772386
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for generating control data for controlling a shoe part production machine for making shoes or elements for optimizing traction properties of the shoe by customizing modules to be mounted on the sole for a specific user, said method comprising the steps of: receiving user profile data describing the characteristics of the user where the user profile data comprise use data and test data, receiving a user selection identifying a selected shoe from a number of shoe models or a selected element influencing the property of a shoe, generating modified template data by modifying a shoe sole template corresponding to the selected shoe model or by modifying an element influencing the properties corresponding to the selected element, said modifications being performed based on said received user profile data, generating control data based on said modified template data.

  • Publication number: 20050066986
Abstract: A smokable rod for a smoking article, such as a cigarette, possesses a co-axial or concentric construction. A longitudinally extending inner core of tobacco cut filler is positioned within a smokable rod. The outer material that circumscribes the inner core in an annular fashion is composed of a tobacco material treated with an optional burn suppressing agent, and the outer material acts as a substrate for an aerosol forming material. A preferred aerosol forming material is glycerin. An outer paper wrapper circumscribes the length of the smokable rod, and another paper wrapping material also can circumscribe the inner core material. In use, one end of the smokable rod is lit. When the opposite end of the smokable rod is drawn upon, an aerosol composed of tobacco smoke, thermal decomposition products of tobacco, and volatilized aerosol forming material, is provided.

  • Patent number: 6199539
Abstract: A circular cross-sectional fuel pipe can be prevented from undesired rotation in an engine cylinder head, by a key-key slot combination having a relatively small radial dimension. The key slot is formed by a groove formed in a cylindrical sleeve that is press fit in a counterbore machined in the cylinder head. The mating key can be a ball, or pin, or bar press fit into a side surface of the fuel pipe.
