Publication number: 20240140999Abstract: The present application describes stapled peptide degron chimeras, which act as protein degradation inducing moieties, either by combining a stapled peptide that binds a disease-related protein with a small molecule degron, such as a cereblon- or VHL-binding small molecule as the degron, or a polypeptide sequence degron, such as a Cop1-binding Trib peptide as the degron; or by combining a stapled peptide degron with a peptide, such as a stapled peptide, or a small molecule that binds a disease-related protein. The present application also relates to methods for the targeted degradation of endogenous proteins through the use of stapled peptide degron chimeras which can be utilized in the treatment of proliferative disorders or other conditions whereby elimination of a disease-causing or disease-related protein would have a therapeutic benefit. The present application also provides methods for making compounds of the application and intermediates thereof.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2023Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Loren D. Patent number: 11379195Abstract: During source code compilation to a first processor instruction set architecture (ISA), a compiler encounters a memory ordering constraint specified in the source code. The compiler generates binary emulation metadata that is usable during emulation of emitted machine code instructions of the first ISA, in order to enforce the memory ordering constraint within corresponding machine code instructions of a second ISA. An emulator utilizes this binary emulation metadata during emulation of a resulting executable image at a processor implementing the second ISA. When the emulator encounters a machine code instruction in the image that performs a memory operation, it identifies an instruction memory address corresponding to the instruction. The emulator determines whether the binary emulation metadata identifies the instruction memory address as being associated with a memory ordering constraint.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2020Date of Patent: July 5, 2022Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Henry Morgan, Ten Tzen, Christopher Martin McKinsey, YongKang Zhu, Terry Mahaffey, Pedro Miguel Sequeira de Justo Teixeira, Arun Upadhyaya Kishan, Youssef M. Publication number: 20120139783Abstract: A system for determining position, velocity, time, and/or altitude of a vehicle of object using GNSS under a broad range of dynamic conditions. The system may utilize a plurality of antennas in some aspects. In some aspects, the system may operate in a differential mode incorporating a fixed or mobile base station. In some aspects, the system may be connected to a smart phone, tablet, or other mobile computing device.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2011Publication date: June 7, 2012Inventors: Henry Morgan Hallam, Ferguson MacPhorson Noble

Publication number: 20100295320Abstract: A tethered airborne electrical power generation system which may utilize a strutted frame structure with airfoils built into the frame to keep wind turbine driven generators which are within the structure airborne. The primary rotors utilize the prevailing wind to generate rotational velocity. Electrical power generated is returned to ground using a tether that is also adapted to fasten the flying system to the ground. The flying system is adapted to be able to use electrical energy to provide power to the primary turbines which are used as motors to raise the system from the ground, or mounting support, into the air. The system may then be raised into a prevailing wind and use airfoils in the system to provide lift while the system is tethered to the ground. The motors may then resume operation as turbines for electrical power generation. The system may be somewhat planar in that many turbines may have their rotors substantially in one or more planes or planar regions.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2010Publication date: November 25, 2010Inventors: JoeBen Bevirt, Henry Morgan Hallam

Publication number: 20070173321Abstract: Accomplishments among players in a gaming environment are compared. A data store that stores a plurality of user profiles which comprise information gathered from users playing one or more video games on a game console. Various accomplishments and achievements attained by the players are associated with the user profile and includes achievement stamps for unlocking various achievements in particular games. At least two user profiles may be selected from the data store to extract information related to accomplishments and achievements the selected players. The selected information may then be displayed simultaneously to facilitate comparison of the players accomplishments.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2006Publication date: July 26, 2007Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Alan Shen, Henry Morgan, Michal Bortnik, Patrick O'Kelley, Vincent Curley

Publication number: 20070164100Abstract: Mechanisms are disclosed for visual identification of a user in a gaming environment. For example, a digital image is used to identify a user, whether the user is on-line or off-line. This digital image is easily verifiable as an appropriate and non-offensive image because it may come form a controlled digital image source (or set of sources). The digital image is also revocable in a variety of gaming environment contexts by a gaming authority. Lastly, the digital image is changeable depending on the context of the gaming environment, in one aspect, being configured to be visible to the entire gaming environment in one form, and being visible to a subset of the gaming environment in another form.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 13, 2006Publication date: July 19, 2007Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Michal Bortnik, Henry Morgan, Steven Lamb, Vincent Curley

Patent number: 6237172Abstract: A tabletop has sections that are relatively movable to positions in which the tabletop is configured to support a patient in a generally kneeling prone position suitable for lumbar examination. An angular section of the tabletop has a torso support surface configured to receive the patient's torso when the patient is in the generally kneeling prone position. The angular section further has a leg support surface configured to receive the patient's upper legs when the patient is in the generally kneeling prone position. The torso and leg support surfaces of the angular section of the tabletop have a permanently fixed angular orientation relative to each other and face upward in directions that diverge from each other. This configuration of the angular section enables the tabletop to impart an especially accessible orientation to the patient's lumbar vertebrae.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 1998Date of Patent: May 29, 2001Assignee: Morgan Medesign, Inc.Inventor: Russell Henry Morgan, Sr.

Patent number: 4024362Abstract: Multiple sets of parallel flat resilient conductive switch blades arranged side-by-side support opposed contact pairs and in turn are cantilever supported by engagement of each blade at a position remote from its contact area in an insulating wall of a relatively rigid support frame. One of the blades of each pair is moved by actuator means engaging the end remote from the point of support. The actuator means rotatably supported on the frame provides a slot which closely engages the ends of at least some of the blades essentially in the plane of the slot so that actuator rotation opens and closes supported contacts.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 1975Date of Patent: May 17, 1977Assignee: T-Bar IncorporatedInventors: A.
