  • Patent number: 10843642
Abstract: A hardware hider cap assembly is provided for covering a fastener, and more specifically, covering a fastener head. The hider cap assembly can include a base member with an opening for receiving the fastener and a cap member releasably coupled to the base member via a threaded engagement. The cap member can include a tab or protrusion configured to engage with a notch in the base member, thereby preventing overtightening of the cap member onto the base member.

  • Publication number: 20200101908
Abstract: A license plate mounting system for use with a vehicle tow eye socket. The license plate mounting system can include a shaft configured to releasably couple with the tow eye socket. A mounting plate configured to support a vehicle license plate. The mounting system also includes a swivel assembly configured to couple the mounting plate to the shaft, and to permit rotation of the mounting plate relative to the shaft about an adjustment axis. The swivel assembly can have a first swivel portion defining a curved surface having an arc length and a second swivel portion having an engagement surface that engages the curved surface. The engagement surface engages only a portion of the curved surface in any particular relative position. The second swivel portion is movable along the curved surface to permit angular adjustment of the mounting plate about the adjustment axis.

  • Patent number: 10583703
Abstract: A tire valve cap having an ABS thread shield that will not interact with the different metal valve stems used on today's vehicles. The ABS insert uses a unique snap in ring design with anti-twist taps that hold the insert into an outer metal cap and at the same time will not twist around inside the cavity of the metal outer cap. Further, the cap includes a unique manner of holding the stem seal in place by using an over-molded in seal (e.g., square O-ring) that will not dislodge with use.
