  • Publication number: 20050005461
Abstract: There are currently three other types of “Alignment Systems” that align the axles of Class 8 trucks in use today, that I am aware of One system is a totally computerized procedure that attaches to the wheels. The second system uses the side of the tire, and the third system uses the tread of the rear axle as an index point. There has not been any major updates to these three above mentioned in the last 10 years. This invention is the first major “System Change” using the wheel as a reference point, but not using a highly technological computerized system. Using this “Alignment System” it is much more cost effective and user friendly, thus making it more available to the open market.
