  • Patent number: 4878661
Abstract: An inflatable toy construction having a substantially flat or substantially non-bulbous center section that is flanked by bulbous end sections. The center section is formed by a plurality of equidistantly and closely spaced, truncate side-to-side weld lines that define a plurality of small bulbous compartments.

  • Patent number: 4770408
Abstract: An inflatable toy construction that allows an inflated yet flat or non-bulbous center section of a toy to be flanked by inflated, bulbous parts. The center section is formed by an I-beam construction that is modified to allow free flow of air between the flat center section and the bulbous parts of the toy which flank the center section. The modification includes baffle walls that do not extend across the entire center section so that air can move from a center section compartment defined by a pair of baffle walls to other compartments defined by other baffle walls that also do not extend completely across the center section. The modification further includes a substantially imperforate wall that surrounds and defines the center section, which wall is provided with a pair of apertures to provide fluid communication between the interior space of the center section and the spaces defined by the bulbous portions of the toy.

  • Patent number: 4770412
Abstract: A free-standing, self-righting punching bag having utility as a toy. The punching bag is sculptured and three dimensional; it is provided with a water-filled flexible enclosure at its lowermost end which serves as a counterweight to right the bag when it has been toppled by a punch or kick. In a first embodiment, a hollow tube member that also serves as a fill spout maintains the enclosure in its original shape at all times. In a second embodiment, a pair of strap members maintain the enclosure in its original shape and the fill spout is provided as a separate member which is positioned on the bottom of the toy.

  • Patent number: 4726513
Abstract: A windproof ashtray. A hollow, aerodynamically configured ashtray structure is provided with a plurality of generally upstanding, circumferentially spaced cigarette-receiving bores, some of which protect a burning cigarette inserted therein from extinguishment while holding it securely against the wind and others of which hold the cigarette securely but which extinguish it. The bores which hold but extinguish cigarettes inserted therein terminate at the oxygen-blocking inside bottom wall of the tray whereas the bores which do not extinguish cigarettes inserted therein terminate in a metal insert member that spaces the burning tip of the cigarette away from any oxygen-blocking surface.

  • Patent number: 4718661
Abstract: Apparatus for playing a plurality of games and methods for playing the games. In a first game, a rider straddles an inflatable toy animal in the form of a bull. A plurality of ring members are fixedly secured to opposite sides of the bull, fore and aft thereof, and rope members are tied to the different rings. The free ends of the ropes are tugged by additional players of the game who are positioned outside the pool, in an attempt to unseat the rider. In another game, a second inflatable toy in the form of a horse is straddled by a second rider. The second rider tugs on a rope or ropes attached to the ring or rings of the bull in an attempt to capture the bull or unseat its rider. Another game includes an inflatable animal with a removeable tail and the object of the game is for the rider of another inflatable toy to chase the tailed toy animal and to remove the tail therefrom.
