Abstract: A modular medication storage cabinet is provided having a plurality of storage units. Each storage unit includes an outer housing having a front opening and a front panel interconnected to the outer housing via a set of drawer sliders that enable the front panel to be moved in its entirety along a path of travel extending forward of the front opening from a closed position to an open position spaced forward of the front opening. A plurality of shelves is integrated on a rear side of the front panel at different heights such that, when the front panel is in the open position, the shelves are located exterior of the outer housing. Each of the shelves extend longitudinally relative to the path of travel of the front panel and define a plurality of compartments in which medicine or medical supplies are stored.

Abstract: Creating directed circuits including encoding of policy and state information associated with directed circuits that may be established between two network entities on separate protected networks. The policies are maintained and implemented according to security methods that initially belong to network apparatus on either of the two protected networks; however the security methods may be relinquished to trusted third parties.

Abstract: A system and method of providing an embedded controller network communication protocol, for controlling communications between a central controller and a plurality of active embedded controllers, wherein a first data transmission token (T2) is passed, under control of the central controller, from the central controller to an active embedded controller, back to the central controller, and then sequentially from the central controller to and from each coupled active embedded controller. Any active embedded controller may return data to the central controller only appended to the first token. A second data transmission token (T1) addressed to one active embedded controller is broadcast from the central controller to all of the active embedded controllers, with a data stream to be transmitted from the central controller to the addressed active embedded controller appended to the second data transmission token (T1).
