Abstract: A software developer proxy tool accesses microservice applications for a software development project by connecting the developer proxy tool to a common port on a computer network. The tool implements software and hardware to register a plurality of the microservice applications on connection ports that connect to the developer proxy tool at an address for the common port. Data requests among the microservices are handled by the developer proxy tool via the common port. The tool sequentially queries selected microservice applications on the respective connection ports to determine availability for completing a request. The tool receives responses back from microservices and directs the responses back to the requesting program. Failed requests trigger use of remote or third party microservice applications that may be available over an internet connection.

Abstract: A system and method for combining positive and negative voltage electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection into a clamp that uses cascoded circuitry, including detecting, by an electrostatic discharge protection system, a voltage pulse on an input pin of an integrated circuit (IC) controller, the IC controller coupled between a power supply node and a ground supply node; determining, by the ESD protection circuit, an ESD event on the input pin based on the voltage detected on the input pin; and/or controlling, by the ESD protection circuit during the ESD event, one or more clamps to transport the voltage pulse from the input pin of the IC controller to the power supply node.

Abstract: A method is provided for fabricating a read element with leads that overlay a top surface of a sensor of the read element. The method includes forming a mask over a sensor layer, then using the mask to define the sensor from the sensor layer. The mask is then narrowed and a lead layer is formed that overlays both ends of the top surface of the sensor without covering a center portion of the top surface.
