Publication number: 20230035226Abstract: A method of forming and fluid treatment system includes a vessel that is defined by a body having an inlet constructed to be connected to a fluid source and an outlet that is constructed to be connected to a discharge passage defined by a direction of a fluid flow directed through the body. The body is preferably three-dimensionally (3D) printed as a unitary body and from a filament material to define the entirety of the body including the inlet and the outlet. The vessel is preferably formed of an antimicrobial or other materials configured to manipulate the composition of the fluid flow directed therethrough and via direct contact of the fluid flow with the interior spaces of the body of the vessel.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 2, 2022Publication date: February 2, 2023Inventors: Marwick Hensley Foster, Jay Schabelski

Publication number: 20210308604Abstract: A system and method for treating fluid by providing a series of concentric chambers, tanks or tubes so that a fluid flow and treatment efficiency is maximized while size, complexity and cost of manufacture and operation is reduced. In one aspect, a generally non-turbulent fluid flow is received and directed in a radial sequential direction through the series of chambers. Each chamber is configured to house a filter assembly or media that provides a level of treatment for the fluid flow while directing the fluid toward a subsequent concentric filtration chamber. The last sequential chamber directs the fluid flow toward a fluid outlet and reduces the turbulence of the flow generated during the filtration process. The system can be configured to direct the fluid flow in inward or outward radial directions according to various arrangements and during filtration or back flushing operations.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 1, 2021Publication date: October 7, 2021Inventor: Hensley Foster

Publication number: 20200001216Abstract: A fluid filter assembly that is defined by a head portion, a base portion, and a filter tube housing that is captured therebetween. Each head portion includes more than one fluid inlet and more than one fluid outlet that are oriented relative to the respective head portion such that a plurality of fluid filter assemblies can be fluidly connected to one another to provide a desired degree of filtration of the fluid passed therethrough and such that the fluid filter assemblies can be oriented in a plurality of orientations relative to one another to provide a desired configuration of the fluid filter assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 19, 2018Publication date: January 2, 2020Applicant: Stonehouse Water Technologies, LLCInventors: Mark G. Sellers, Brian P. Conrad, Hensley Foster, Moe Mukiibi

Patent number: 7017273Abstract: A device for trimming a candlewick trims the wick at a predetermined height above a candle. The device includes first and second elongated gripping arms that are pivotably coupled to each other at a first end. An opening is formed at the first end between the first and second gripping arms. A pair of cutting blades are arranged between and transverse to the elongated gripping arms. The cutting blades are spaced a distance away from the first end of the first and second gripping arms, the distance being equal to the predetermined height. When the first end of the first and second gripping arms is set on the candle such that the candlewick extends through the opening, pivoting the first and second gripping arms causes the cutting blades to trim the candlewick at the predetermined height.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 2004Date of Patent: March 28, 2006Inventors: Hensley Foster, Kim Albrecht

Patent number: 5642830Abstract: A container has an assembled condition in which it is used for transport or storage of goods and a disassembled condition in which the elements of the container are collected into an integral unit. The container comprises top and bottom members. Columnar members are received in the top and bottom members when the case is in the assembled condition. The columnar members have at least a pair of peripherally spaced slots extending along the columnar members. Each of a plurality of side members are inserted in a slot of a columnar member in one corner of the top and bottom members and in a slot in a columnar member positioned in an adjacent corner to form one of the sides of the container. A locking device consisting of a pair of latch members releasably retains the columnar members in the top and bottom members. For this purpose, the pair of latch members engage a pair of mounting rod mounted across the interior of the columnar members.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 1996Date of Patent: July 1, 1997Assignee: Badger Case, Inc.Inventor: Hensley Foster
