    Abstract: A device and method for forming an alignment layer of an LCD device are provided. In the device, a drying part is positioned vertically above a printing part, and an alignment layer is deposited on a substrate according to an inkjet method, so that it is possible to form the alignment layer on the substrate without relation to the size of the substrate. This improves the efficiency in using a clean room.
