Abstract: A battery pack is disclosed. The battery pack includes at least two battery cells to provide a high capacity battery pack. The battery pack includes a single PCM assembly controlling at least two battery cells to decrease inferiority due to overcharge and overdischarge. Since a connector tab electrically connecting at least two battery cells to a single PCM assembly is provided, contacts are not separated during the swelling of the battery cells to prevent contact inferiority. A top case and a bottom case are provided to be coupled with at least two battery cells to maintain a secure coupling between the at least two battery cells.

Abstract: A secondary battery having a porous filling member that occupies a portion of a molding space between a bare cell and a protective circuit board. The presence of the filling member makes it possible to uniformly apply a molding resin into the molding space and to reduce defects due to thickness irregularity of a mold or a surface defect thereof.

Abstract: An external case for secondary batteries, and a secondary battery using the external case, in which the covering surfaces for the lower surface and side surfaces of a pouch type core pack are joined to prevent unfolding due to the resilience of the material. The external case includes: a base covering the lower surface of the pouch type cell, a pair of sidewalls joined to two opposing longer edges of the base to respectively form single linear boundaries, and covering two broad side surfaces of the pouch type cell, and skirts extending from two longer edges of each of the sidewalls, and covering two narrow side surfaces of the pouch type cell. The base, sidewalls, and skirts are all formed of a metallic material.

Abstract: A secondary battery, and more particularly, to a secondary battery which sheathes a protection circuit board with a separate cover in advance and connects the sheathed protection circuit board to a bare cell and executes a molding or hard pack operation with a molding resin member in a space between the protection circuit board and the bare cell. The secondary battery may be constructed with a rechargeable bare cell, a protection circuit board that a protection circuit against the bare cell is formed therein and an external terminal is installed in one surface, a board exterior cover that the exposed external terminal is attached to one surface of the protection circuit board, a first lead plate and a second lead plate that connect positive electrode/negative electrode of the bare cell to the protection circuit board.

Abstract: A battery pack, which can secure the strength of an outer case, minimize the thickness over the whole outer case and ensure a battery capacity of the battery pack, by forming a portion of a main wall of the outer case with a metal plate. The battery pack includes a core pack, a first case, and a second case. The first case has a periphery including a first resin molding part, and is configured to cover a first surface of the core pack. The second case has a periphery including a second molding part, and is configured to cover a second surface of the core pack. The first and second cases are connected with each other by a weld of the first and second molding parts.

Abstract: A battery pack is provided. The battery pack includes: a core pack including a bare cell, and a protective circuit member attached on a side of the bare cell; a housing case for covering at least a portion of the protective circuit member of the core pack, and where a connection part adapted to be connected with an outer electronic appliance is disposed; and a resin-molding part for combining the core pack and the housing case by contacting at least a portion of the core pack and the housing case.
