  • Publication number: 20230276725
Abstract: A coupling device is disclosed which is designed as a hook with a hook body, an opening that allows the mating part of the attachment to enter the hook body, a guideway and a shoulder to counter any offset between the mating part of the attachment to the hook. Furthermore, the coupling device includes a locking latch that protrudes into the opening of the hook body and locks the mating part of the attachment in order to engage the mating part with the hook body, thereby retaining the mating part in a locked position. In an embodiment, the locking latch has a geometry that limits the motion of the locking latch and generates a motion curve. Furthermore, the locking latch moves on a motion curve to allow the locking latch to release the opening in order to allow the mating pan to enter the socket.

  • Patent number: 6420798
Abstract: A device for setting the length of a top rink (7) of an attaching device of a tractor (1) has a piston/cylinder unit (14) for length setting purposes. The piston/cylinder (14) has a displacement sensor (20) which records the respective actual length setting of the top link (7). The displacement sensor (20) generates an actual proportional length signal. A lift position sensor (13) is provided which generates an electric signal representing the respective actual lift position of the lower steering arms (4). A nominal length setting of the top link (7), which refers to the respective actual lift position, can be stored in a storage unit (33). When a new actual lift position is reached during the automatic mode of operation, it is possible to generate an electric control signal which corresponds to the nominal length setting of the top link (7). The signal is transmitted to the comparator of a control unit (34). The comparator compares the control signal with the actual length signal.

  • Patent number: 6367369
Abstract: A side strut (5) for a lower steering arm of a tractor has a single-action hydraulic cylinder with a cylinder housing (9) and a piston (16). The piston includes a hollow cylinder (17) with a base (18). In the hollow cylinder (17), a rod-shaped element (20) is adjustable against the force of a spring from a moved-in position into a moved-out position. Because the piston (16) and the setting element (20) move in the same direction, it is possible to achieve a telescopic design which leads to a short installation length which, in turn, results in a more advantageous buckling strength.

  • Patent number: 6283488
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for stabilizing the two lower steering arms (1) of a tractor. The lower steering arms (1) can be actuated by a hydraulic power lift (9). Each lower steering arm (1) is associated with a side strut (6) which includes a single-acting hydraulic cylinder (7) to stabilize and secure the lower steering arm (1). A pre-selection valve (12) and a control valve (13) enable the hydraulic cylinders to be connected to the power lift (9) either via a line or loaded separately by a second pressure source (P2). Thus, independently of the actuation of the power lift (9), the two lower steering arms can be centrally centered by the hydraulic cylinders (7).

  • Patent number: 5704432
Abstract: A coupling and centering device is attached to a journal (38) of a carrying frame (37) of an agricultural implement. The coupling and centering device has a catching ball (7) and a catching profile (14). The catching profile (14) has a sleeve (15) and a catching plate (25) which are connected to one another. The sleeve (15), in the fitted condition, enters a bore step (12) of the catching ball. The catching plate (25) is arranged relative to the sleeve (15) such that the transverse bore (19), for receiving the lynch pin, is arranged in the region of the wall of the catching plate (25). Thus, in view of a predetermined length of the journal (38) and the provision of the fixing bore (39), the greatest possible guiding length of the sleeve (15) is achieved on the journal (38). In this way, the strength of the connection is affected positively.

  • Patent number: 5263734
Abstract: A coupling device for a tractor has a frame (4) which is mounted on the rear underside (3) of the tractor (1). A drawbar (14), with a coupling member (15), is guided in the frame (4). The drawbar (14) is moved by a slide (18) and can be swung sideways about a vertical axis. Centering pieces (34) and stop blocks with centering faces (35) and stop faces (38) engage one another to laterally align and fix the drawbar (14). In a lower position the drawbar facilitates lateral swivelling movement about the connecting pin (22). In an upper towing position the drawbar (14) is laterally fixed by the centering pieces (34) and the stop blocks (38). This results in improved control of the coupling members associated with the to be towed implement through lateral alignment of the drawbar and its automatic transfer into its centered position.
