  • Patent number: 4515243
Abstract: A leg assembly for a trestle comprising a channel of an internal width to receive a lumber beam, which is hinged to a plate bent at an obtuse angle to form a depending panel shaped as a trapezoid. Means are provided to secure lumber legs to and along the edges of the depending panel to form A-frames which diverge with respect to each other because the steel panels to which they are attached are disposed at obtuse angles to the beam.

  • Patent number: 4298096
Abstract: A trestle leg assembly comprising a foldable pair of legs which may be opened out and locked into A-frame configuration. Angles are bolted to horizontal plates welded to the tops of the legs, and the bolt holes are located so that when the upright legs of the angles are positioned back to back, they clamp the sides of a standard 2.times.4, and when they are placed face to face they grip the edges of a 2.times.4 lying flat.

  • Patent number: 4134473
Abstract: A portable scaffolding comprising a plank with frame members supporting each end thereof. The frame members include legs of steel angles which are interconnected at their lower portions by toggle arms for collapsing, and at their upper ends by threaded members for adjusting the spacing thereof. Inwardly facing channel members on the upper ends of the legs are received over the opposite edges of the plank.Another pair of channel members adapted to be received over the edges of the plank are also drawn together by threaded members, and depending from one of them is a step to facilitate stepping up onto the scaffold.

  • Patent number: 4121814
Abstract: A sawbuck comprising a pair of V-shaped members of steel plate or the like having toothed log-gripping members welded along the edges thereof. Depending legs welded to each V-shaped member form slip channels of a size to fit snugly over a standard board of nominal 2 inch thickness whereby they may be carried on a two by four beam of a sawhorse.
