  • Publication number: 20160166625
Abstract: A method of dispensing cannabis is disclosed that includes providing a cannabis composition via a dispensary, the cannabis composition having an effective amount of cannabis; formulated as an ailment-targeted treatment; and formed so as to deliver the effective amount of cannabis to a subject through a delivery method other than inhalation or consumption of an edible food product.

  • Publication number: 20140283824
Abstract: A portable hand-held vaporizer assembly having a body shaped to fit substantially within a standard-sized clothing pocket, the body including an airflow chamber, the airflow chamber having a distal end and a proximal end; and a spiral body coupling the distal end to the proximal end. The spiral body defines a spiral airflow passage in fluid communication with an outside environment, winding about an area, and being at least partially encapsulated within the body. The distal end defines a distal opening that places the spiral airflow passage in fluid communication with the outside environment. The assembly further includes a heating element thermally coupled to the spiral glass body and disposed within the area about which the spiral body winds. A substance placement zone is downstream from the spiral airflow passage and in fluid communication with the spiral airflow passage.

  • Patent number: 8739786
Abstract: A portable hand-held vaporizer assembly that has a body shaped to fit substantially within a standard-sized clothing pocket with the body including an airflow chamber defining an airflow passage and having a proximal end and a distal end, opposite to the proximal end, defining a distal opening that places the airflow passage in fluid communication with an outside environment, the airflow chamber being at least partially encapsulated within the body. The body further having a convection-based heating element assembly with a heating element having a portion thermally coupled to the airflow passage, a herb placement zone in fluid communication with the airflow passage, and a conductive conduit that places the airflow passage in fluid communication with the outside environment, with a first position where a distal end of the conduit is substantially recessed within the body and second position where the distal end extends a length away from the body.

  • Publication number: 20140053832
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel herbal retention device for use with a vaporizing unit. More specifically, the present invention provides a high-temperature resistant permeable herbal container body defining an herbal retention area, a selectively openable aperture at an upper portion, the upper portion further defining a first set of apertures sized to permit vapor to exit the herbal retention area, and a lower portion, the lower portion defining a second set of apertures sized to permit hot air to enter but no herbal residue to exit the herbal retention area.
