  • Patent number: 11980925
Abstract: A sheet metal processing plant includes a conveyor defining a receiving surface for a workpiece and a conveying direction in a conveying plane and being embodied for conveying the workpiece, the workpiece having a bottom side and a top side, and a turning unit embodied for turning the workpiece received on the receiving surface from the bottom side to the top side. The turning unit includes a manipulator embodied to lift the bottom side of the workpiece off the receiving surface, to perform a turning operation of the workpiece and to place the top side of the workpiece on the receiving surface of the conveyor.

  • Patent number: 6651341
Abstract: A foil-cutting device is disclosed for opening a foil protecting a dose of medical power carried by a dosing cassette or the like for an inhaler device. The dosing cassette will in a typical embodiment carry a number of prepared doses (31), which for protection of the medical powder are covered by a metallic or plastic foil (24). The foil-cutter device of the present invention provides a tool (11) for accessing a selected sealed dose of medical powder of the cassette during an inhalation process using a dry powder inhaler (DPI). When a user inhales through the DPI the foil-cutter opens the foil (24) for access to a pre-metered powder dose (31). The foil-cutter arrangement ensures that no access is permitted to the pre-metered dose during any other circumstances. Particularly the present invention is adapted to be applied in an inventive continuous inhaler prolonging the release of a powder dose during the inhalation of the medical powder.

  • Patent number: 6439227
Abstract: An arrangement is disclosed for, in connection to an inhalation operation, opening and closing an air inlet of a dry powder inhaler device (DPI) provided with a pre-metered dosing member (4). The arrangement requires a certain well-defined minimum pressure differential between a surrounding atmosphere and the airways of the inhaling person to open the inlet for outside air to enter into the interior of the DPI. The arrangement controlling the opening and closing of the air inlet presents a biased flap connected to a biased catch mechanism. The biased flap (16) closes the air inlets (23) of the DPI to the atmosphere by the force exerted by a compression spring (13), which acts on the flap through a mechanism of levers. In order to open the flap a force Fp bigger than the closing force Fc of the spring and lever mechanism must be applied. The necessary force ensues from the pressure differential across the flap resulting when sucking the mouthpiece of the DPI to a certain degree.

  • Patent number: 6360744
Abstract: An interface arrangement is disclosed for ensuring proper dosing as well as achieving a safe operation and handling of a dry powder inhaler (DPI) used for administration of a powder to be inhaled. The interface of the present invention primarily handles the loading of a cassette (4) carrying pre-metered doses into the dry powder inhaler (8). An important characteristic is that the interface by utilizing a particular coding prevents a user from loading a cassette not containing the proper powder. Additionally the interface informs a user when a new mouthpiece has to be replaced after being used for a pre-defined number of inhalation operations. Additionally the interface informs a user when a present cassette has delivered its last dose and should be exchanged. Also information on the number of further cassettes already utilized will control that another cassette still is permitted to be loaded.

  • Patent number: 4120133
Abstract: A room element for a full-scale or small-scale building has a rigid frame or chassis consisting of a floor panel, composed of prefabricated panel sections rigidly connected in an end-to-end assembly by structural means, and prefabricated vertical load-bearing structures, rigidly connected to the panel adjacent the ends thereof, for supporting superimposed parts (e.g. the roof or ceiling, or a superimposed room element). At least one of the load-supporting structures may be integral with a panel section. The panel sections form the bases of the corresponding regions of the room element and at least one of them is incorporated in a three-dimensional prefabricated room element section, of unit form, which unit comprises such vertical load-bearing or non-load-bearing bearing structures substantially all the installations, required in that part of the completed room element. The unit may be a bathroom unit, staircase unit, heating unit, elevator shaft unit, or kitchen unit.
