  • Patent number: 8322182
Abstract: A method for producing a pot-shaped housing part, especially for a hub part of a hybrid drive. The housing part has a bottom and a wall extending away from the bottom. An outer face of the wall extends approximately up to an outer face of the bottom, with the outer face of the bottom facing away from a free edge of the wall. The method includes the steps of clamping the radially inner zone of a blank in a workpiece holder, so that a radially outer zone of the blank directly adjoining the radially inner zone is free, and folding the radially outer zone of the blank towards and against a contact surface of the workpiece holder by means of a forming process until the outer face of the radially outer zone extends at least up to and preferably beyond the outer face of the radially inner zone.

  • Publication number: 20060180048
Abstract: A pneumatic spring (LUF) for a rail vehicle (SFZ), comprising two bellow rims (BF1, BF2) mounted one above the other and interconnected by pneumatic-suspension bellow (LBA). One of the bellow rims (BF1) comprises a groove (NUT) and the other rim (BF2) comprises a counterpart (GGS) for the groove (NUT), which permit an automatic centering of the two bellow rims (BF1,BF2) in relation to one another in the transversal direction (Q) of the vehicle, if the pneumatic spring (LUF) fails.

  • Patent number: 6050351
Abstract: A drilled hole (1) is produced by means of a drilling rod assembly comprig a succession of rod elements (7d) to be arranged end to end. For this purpose, a vertical shaft (2) is produced in the ground, of constant horizontal section and preferably insufficient for a man to be able to work towards the bottom of it, the rod assembly is displaced therein from an opening located in a front wall of the shaft, and the elements (7) of the rod assembly are selected so that they have an axial length less than the distance separating the said opening in the front wall of the shaft from the opposite rear wall.

  • Patent number: 5520117
Abstract: A traction vehicle, in particular railway traction vehicle, comprising a bogey chassis mounted on wheel axles, a vehicle chassis spring-mounted on the bogey chassis and at least one motor-transmission unit mounted underneath the vehicle chassis and within the bogey chassis close to the wheel axle driven by the motor-transmission unit. The motor-transmission unit is suspended from the bogey chassis by a pendulum suspension close to the set of wheels in the bogey chassis. The motor-transmission unit is also suspended in the vehicle by a pendulum suspension. The motor transmission unit is provided with a pair of connecting rods in which either or both are connected to the bogey chassis or the vehicle chassis. The connecting rods are arranged with one rod parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and the other rod being either parallel to or angularly related to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4771527
Abstract: A tool, mainly for placing by remote-control a tensioning roller chain or a like tightening element around a flange, in particular in nuclear works, and thereupon to carry out tightening, the ends of the tensioning roller chain being connected by a tensioning system including a tightening bolt, characterized by gripper members to seize the ends of the tensioning roller chain and by gripper arms on which the gripper members are mounted and of which at least one arm is kinematically displaceable by a displacement system in such a manner that the ends of the tensioning roller chain can be guided around the flange and toward each other, and by a coupling at one of the gripper arms for detachably engaging the tightening bolt so that a tensioning motor may drive the coupling and thereby tighten the roller chain about the flange and so that the gripper arms may thereupon disengage from the coupling and the roller chain remain tightened about the flange.

  • Patent number: 4504347
Abstract: A nonswelling mass of fibers and a thermosetting synthetic resin are cold pressed into a preform body having a predetermined primary volume. This preform body is then hot pressed into an intermediate body having a secondary volume smaller than the primary volume. The press is then opened and a thermosetting synthetic-resin skin is applied to at least a portion of the surface of the intermediate body. Thereafter the skin and body are together pressed into a final integrated body having a volume smaller than the secondary volume. The skin is applied to the intermediate body as a foil.

  • Patent number: 4341733
Abstract: A method of actuating absorber rods in pebble bed reactors, according to which the rod is moved into or out of the ball pile with limited advancing speed in a turning or rotary manner. A feeding or advancing force is transmitted onto the rod being introduced, and this force does not exceed the appropriate maximum value of the ball strength and the rod stability. The drive provided for the foregoing procedure effects both a longitudinal shifting and rotation of a rod connected therewith, and has an axially fixed advancing spindle, the spindle nut of which is rigidly connected with the absorber rod and is journalled in a rotary pipe or tube in such a way as to be axially displaceable yet fixed against rotation, with the rotary tube being driven at a constant speed. During removal or outward travel of the rod from the ball pile, a fixed transmission ratio exists between the driving mechanism and driven end, which fixed transmission is generated with the aid of a freewheel or free-running drive.

  • Patent number: 4104348
Abstract: The nonflowing molding materials are blown into the mold cavity which has a screen defining one surface of the article to be molded. The materials first fill up the remote areas of the cavity as the carrying air vents through the screen. As the cavity fills up to the feeding nozzle, a vent flap in the nozzle body opens up, allowing the carrying air to vent through the screened opening exposed by the flap until the mold is completely filled and the air is cut off.
