Publication number: 20090277671Abstract: A glass pane having at least one electrical functional element is provided. The functional element comprises at least one electrical conductor and at least one terminal area located at an end of the electrical conductor, wherein the electrical conductor and the terminal area are formed from an electrically conductive layer deposited on a surface of the glass pane. A terminal wire is connected to the at least one terminal area by a soldered joint by way of a metal block having a flat contact area, and the flat contact area is soldered on a corresponding terminal area. A method for forming such a connection is also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 12, 2007Publication date: November 12, 2009Applicant: PILKINGTON AUTOMOTIVRE DEUTSCHLAND GmbHInventor: Herbert Hahn

Patent number: 6593877Abstract: A method of determining the position of a transmitting beacon transmitting a signal to certain satellites in a constellation of satellites, which satellites in turn retransmit retransmitted signals to at least one detection ground station, wherein each of said ground stations is provided with at least one antenna whose directional characteristics do not make it possible to identify which satellite retransmitted any given retransmitted signal, and wherein the method implements the following steps: a) computing position for all combinations associating signals with satellites that might correspond to retransmission of transmitted signals; b) computing the position of the beacon for at least some of the satellite combinations, using the least squares method; and c) determining the combination which presents the smallest computation residue by the least squares method, the position of the transmitting beacon corresponding to this combination then being considered to be the position of the transmitting beacon.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2002Date of Patent: July 15, 2003Assignee: Agence Spatiale EuropeenneInventors: Bart Peeters, Jörg Herbert Hahn, Giuliano Gatti, Igor Stojkovic, Boudewijn Ambrosius, Hans Van der Marel

Patent number: 4387212Abstract: A process for the preparation of etherified or non-etherified aminoplast resins, wherein an aminotriazine of the general formula (I) ##STR1## where X is hydrogen, alkyl, phenyl, alkylphenyl or --NH.sub.2, is reacted with a .beta.-hydroxyaldehyde of the general formula (II) ##STR2## where R', R" and R'" are identical or different and each is hydrogen or alkyl, or R" and R'", together with the .alpha.-carbon atom, are a cyclopentane or cyclohexane ring, and R" and/or R'" can be hydroxyalkyl and R" can be phenyl, the reaction being carried out in the presence of not less than one alcohol and an acid catalyst for the preparation of etherified aminoplast resins and in the presence or absence of an acid catalyst for the preparation of non-etherified aminoplast resins. The aminoplast resins prepared according to the invention can be used as surface-coatings raw materials.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 1982Date of Patent: June 7, 1983Assignee: BASF AktiengesellschaftInventors: Rainer Hummerich, Herbert Hahn, Wolfram Weiss, Guenther Immel, Hans-Joachim Krause, Karl-Clemens Peters
