  • Patent number: 10107923
Abstract: A receiving container for a detector which operates in an ultrahigh vacuum or in a protective gas atmosphere that consists of high-purity gas. The receiving container has a receiving portion which forms at least a portion of the receiving space for the detector, and a cover for hermetically sealing the receiving space. A first sealing surface is arranged at the receiving portion and a second sealing surface matching the first sealing surface is arranged at the cover. Between the sealing surfaces a gasket is arranged. A securing device presses the cover against the receiving portion to provide a defined contact pressure of the gasket.

  • Publication number: 20050040852
Abstract: Shifter circuits comprise a matched translation stack comprising at least first and second stacks each of which comprising multiple transistors. The matched translation stack is configured to provide a primary logic level shift between a voltage level away from which a shift is desired (VddL) and a voltage level to which the shift is desired (VddH). One or more high voltage buffer stages are provided, at least one of which being connected with and biased by the matched translation stack. At least one high voltage buffer stage comprises multiple transistors arranged in a transistor stack that is biased by the first stack of the matched translation stack, and is connected to receive an input supplied by the second stack of the matched translation stack. The high voltage buffer stage also comprises an inverter that drives an output stage which is also driven by a low voltage buffer stage.

  • Publication number: 20050040853
Abstract: A shifter circuit comprises, in one embodiment, an input voltage divider stage comprising multiple transistors arranged in a transistor stack defining a plurality of intermediate nodes. The transistor stack is connected between an input signal and ground and has at least one output. An inverting buffer stage is connected to a supply voltage and coupled to the input voltage divider's output. The inverting buffer stage is configured to provide an inverted output signal. Means are provided for stepping up the inverted output signal, receiving a stepped up output signal and providing a level-shifted output signal at a voltage level lower than that of the input signal.

  • Publication number: 20050040854
Abstract: A shifter circuit comprises a high and low voltage buffer stages and an output buffer stage. The high voltage buffer stage comprises multiple transistors arranged in a transistor stack having a plurality of intermediate nodes connecting individual transistors along the stack. The transistor stack is connected between a voltage level being shifted to and an input voltage. An inverter of this stage comprises multiple inputs and an output. Inverter inputs are connected to a respective intermediate node of the transistor stack. The low voltage buffer stage has an input connected to the input voltage and an output, and is operably connected to the high voltage buffer stage. The low voltage buffer stage is connected between a voltage level being shifted away from and a lower voltage. The output buffer stage is driven by the outputs of the high voltage buffer stage inverter and the low voltage buffer stage.

  • Patent number: 6093012
Abstract: A description is given of a mold for manufacturing concrete moldings, e.g. paving setts, large-volume blocks and large-format, thin panels, having a bottom mold part which comprises the mold chamber(s) and having a top mold part with a load plate and the die or the dies. The bottom die parts (47) which come into contact with the concrete in each case are guided so as to be movable in the vertical direction, with respect to the top mold part, in a displacement range defined by stops (46, 51, 53) and are exposed to the action of a pressure medium, e.g. a bellows (40) activated by compressed air. The manufacturing process claimed works with two successive fillings. After the first filling pre-compaction is carried out at a relatively high pressure, and after the second filling secondary compaction is carried out at reduced pressure, the reduced pressure resulting in desired striking of the movable die part against the other die in the same rhythm as the vibrations.

  • Patent number: 5643616
Abstract: Concrete-molding machine having a ram on which an upper mold part is fastened in a releasable manner. The quick-fastening device used for this purpose comprises connecting pins which have a shank and a widened cross-piece. In order to simplify the device, the connecting pins are fastened on the upper mold part by means of their shanks. Located on the ram or on a carrying plate fixedly connected thereto is a horizontal slide with keyhole-like clearances into which the connecting pins can be inserted from beneath. Pneumatic lifting elements grip below the slide and draw it up, in the connecting position, to the cross-pieces.

  • Patent number: 3949943
Abstract: A roller mill-bowl lining comprising a plurality of individual segments disposed adjacent to each other in an annular ring-like arrangement. The segments of the ring have the adjacent end portions thereof configured in an angular, interlocking shape so that upon the breakage of one of the segments the lining will not lift away from the mill bowl.
