Abstract: Mixtures of iron complexes of metallizable disazo compounds, at least one compound being of the formula ##STR1## and at least one compound being of the formula ##STR2## wherein the substituents have the meaning given in the specification, are useful for dyeing substrates dyeable with anionic dyes, e.g., leather.

Abstract: Water-soluble, anionic, chromium complexes of disazo compounds, at least one of the complex-forming disazo compounds being of the formula, ##STR1## in which ##STR2## is the radical of a carboxy group-containing diazo component of the benzene or naphthalene series, the carboxy group being ortho to the azo group and the diazo component being free from other metallizable groups, andB-- is the radical of a diazo component of the benzene or naphthalene series free from metallizable substituents,which complexes contain at least one water-solubilizing group, are in free acid or salt form and are useful for dyeing and printing substrates such as natural and synthetic polyamides, polyurethanes and anodized aluminum, particularly fur-lined leather.

Abstract: Dye compositions containing (a) at least one blue sulpho group-containing triphendioxazine dye and (b) at least one blue sulpho group-containing anthraquinone dye and preferably (c) lignine sulphonic acid or a salt of it and optionally (d) a non-ionic blending agent are outstandingly suitable for the level and fast dyeing of leather substrates.

Abstract: Metal complex polyazo dyes having, as a coupling component radical, the radical of a coupling component K, being the product of the condensation, under acidic conditions, of the formaldehyde with a compound or mixture of compounds of formula (a), ##STR1## AND/OR A COMPOUND OR MIXTURE OF COMPOUNDS OF FORMULA (B), ##STR2## WHEREIN EACH R.sub.1 , R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is independently is hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy or optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy, andM is hydrogen or a non-chromophoric cation,The mol ratio of formaldehyde to the other compound(s) (a) and/or (b) being at least 0.6:1 and at least 50 mol % of the other compound(s) (a) and/or (b) containing a --COOM group, and, as diazo or bisdiazo component radical, a radical D- or -D- where D contains at least one metallized azo group, their production and their use for the dyeing of anionic dyeable substrates, particularly leather. The dyes have good levelling capacity and the obtained dyeings possess notable fastness to light.
