  • Patent number: 6575487
Abstract: A transport apparatus to launch a boat into the water and retrieve the boat from the water. There is an elongate main frame having forward and rear main frame sections pivotally connected to one another along a transverse axis at approximately a mid location along the length. At the forward end of the main frame, there is an operating station and also forward wheels which are capable of turning a full ninety degrees in either direction, and there are at the opposite end rear support wheels which can be raised or lowered. When a boat is being taken out of the water, the apparatus is moved so that its rear end moves into the water, the rear wheels are raised to lower the rear frame section and the two main frame sections are articulated relative to one another to lower the pivot location. In this configuration the boat can be brought onto the rear main frame section, the rear section raised, and the boat carried out of the water.

  • Patent number: 6378704
Abstract: A system for separating construction debris into low density debris and high density debris. The construction debris is delivered into a rotating drum having front and rear discharge openings. The lower portion of the drum is filled with water, and the debris is deposited onto the water, with the low density debris floating at the surface and the high density debris descending to the bottom of the drum. A plurality of high velocity water jets are positioned forwardly of the debris receiving location to create a turbulent high velocity water flow at an upper zone of the water in the drum to move the wood and other low density material toward a rear converging passageway that leads into the rear discharge opening. The higher density material is carried by a scroll type conveyor forwardly in the drum to a forward discharge location where rotating paddles lift the high density debris upwardly and thence move it into the front discharge opening.

  • Patent number: 5100537
Abstract: A waste collecting and recycling system where a portable waste sorting apparatus is located at a first collecting location. Waste from a nearby locality is brought to the collecting location where the recyclable material is sorted out and carried to another location for recycling or possibly further shipment. Then the portable separating apparatus is moved to a second collecting location and the process is repeated. The waste material brought to these locations can in some instances be presorted, with further sorting or separation being accomplished at the collecting locations. Thus, efficiencies are realized in transportation costs and also in effective use of the sorting apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4568237
Abstract: There is disclosed a mobile cargo container for transporting fluid-like materials such as cannery waste. The cargo container includes a floor conveyor extending rearward of and beyond the container bottom for discharging materials from the container through a rear discharge outlet. A trailer door is connected to the container to pivot between an open position wherein the door is above the discharge outlet, and a closed position wherein the door seals the container in a fluid tight fit. The discharge outlet is defined by side walls of the trailer which are angled downwardly in a rearward direction from the top of the container to a point wherein the side walls project downwardly in a forward direction to meet with a bottom portion of the container.
