Abstract: Process for the simultaneous treatment of the top and bottom sides of a web of paper support each with a liquid coating material, whereina) the web of paper support is passed through the gap between two rubber rollers rotating in the same direction,b) the top side of the web of paper support is treated with the first coating material by means of a first rubber roller,the first coating material is transferred to the first rubber roller by a first screen roller rotating in the opposite direction,the first coating material is applied to the first screen roller by means of a pouring device,c) the bottom side of the web of paper support is treated with the second coating material by means of a second rubber roller,the second coating material is transferred to the second rubber roller by a second screen roller rotating in the opposite direction,the second coating material is applied to the second screen roller by means of a pouring device.

Abstract: Use of a paper carrier for the production of a repulpable carton sealing tape which is finished on one side with a repulpable self-adhesive composition and on the other side with a repulpable silicone-free release based on a copolymer of amide/styrene together with a film-forming agent.

Abstract: Adhesive paper tape, obtainable by impregnating and coating a paper which, immediately after the production process and still in the moist state, has been compressed between a rotating roller and a rotating web, and dried and which hasa mean weight of 45-80 g/m.sup.2a mean extensibility of 8-20%a means tensile strength of at least 35N/15 mm anda mean thickness of at most 0.13 mm.
