  • Patent number: 5603509
Abstract: A stripping device comprising a stripping ring and a locating ring. The stripping ring is set on a holder in a fitted position thereof. The locating ring is resiliently elastic in design and fits in an annular groove provided in the holder for axially locking the stripping ring in relation to the holder. The stripping ring and the locating ring are attached together with the formation of a subassembly. It is in this manner that the stripping device may be relatively simply produced and handled.

  • Patent number: 5487409
Abstract: A spool valve possesses a longitudinally divided valve housing, in the case of which housing parts are assembled with longitudinal sides fitted together. In the wall of the valve housing valve ducts are provided. In order to enable simplification of the manufacture of such valve housings at least part of the length of a valve duct extends in the parting interface of the valve housing. In this respect the wall of the valve duct is made up of complementary peripheral wall portion, which are provided at the housing parts adjacent to each other in the parting interface.

  • Patent number: 5228380
Abstract: A linear drive comprising a drive member adapted to be reciprocated axially in a housing between two end positions. Opposite to the former there is a wall on at least one axial side. There are means to reduce the impact in the end position, such means having an annular lip. The lip is arranged on the drive member or on the wall and respectively faces the wall or the housing. The lip defines a damping space which is open on an impact side. If the drive member approaches one end position thereof, the damping space is occluded and reduced in volume so that some trapped fluid will escape via a relief opening so that there is a braked part of the stroke. Using simple means it is therefore possible to provide an extremely efficient fluid damping at the end position.

  • Patent number: 5205594
Abstract: A connection device for fluid conduits. An annular gripper member is arranged in a housing and has an axially sliding actuating part, on which a plurality of clamping elements are provided and between the clamping elements and the actuating part there are bending regions which allow rocking of the clamping elements. Each clamping element has a radially projecting pressing part which axially opposes a support surface on the housing. If a conduit is to be released which is held in the annular gripper member, an external thrust is exerted on the annular gripper member to cause the clamping elements to be rocked into a releasing position relative to the conduit.

  • Patent number: 5165700
Abstract: A sealing and stripper ring for a rod-like component has an annular support part on which a sealing lip and axially spaced from it a first stripper lip are provided. A second annular stripper lip is placed coaxially in front of the first stripper lip on the side opposite to the sealing lip. At least as regards its stripper part (which in the operational position contacts the circumferential surface of the rod-like component) the second lip is made harder or stiffer than the corresponding engagement part of the first stripper lip.
