    Abstract: A device for portioning a plurality of dough strands into individual dough portions operates as follows: firstly, the produced dough strands, which are transported by a conveyor device, are measured with respect to their volume by a measuring device. Afterwards the dough strands are cut by means of a cutting device as a function of the measurement result into dough portions. This results in a dough portioning where the precision of the portioning is improved.
