  • Publication number: 20220400027
Abstract: One embodiment includes a control device for field devices connected to the control device via a communications network, e.g. a field bus. The control device comprises a wireless service interface (e.g. Wi-Fi interface). The control device is designed to receive a service signal generated by a field device and to activate the wireless service interface in response. Another embodiment includes a method for transmitting data to a control device for controlling field devices connected to the control device via a communications network. A wireless service interface of the control device is activated via a service signal generated by a field device and sent to the control device. After the activation of the wireless service interface, data is transferred from a tool (e.g. engineering tool, commissioning tool) via the wireless service interface.

  • Patent number: 11512969
Abstract: A vehicle takes and evaluates an image of the surroundings of the vehicle. If the result of the evaluation is that the image possibly contains a static object that could be suitable as a landmark, then the image and a position of the vehicle ascertained by the vehicle at the location at which the image is taken are transmitted to a data processing station. Image analysis of the received image allows the data processing station to establish whether the supposedly static object is suitable as a landmark. When the object has been verified as a landmark, the data processing station creates a data record describing the object, which data record is transmitted to the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9519276
Abstract: A system for automating a building has an object describing a building section and at least one object describing an automation function and a functional unit having at least one open-loop and/or closed-loop control program, with the object describing a building section having an overview list, in which semantic information units for the building section concerned are able to be stored. A semantic information unit for the building section concerned identifies an automation function which is provided in the building section. The object describing the automation function has an overview list, in which semantic information units for the automation function concerned are able to be stored. The semantic information unit includes a relation to a further object. The relation is implemented such that a bidirectional exchange of data between the corresponding objects is made possible.

  • Patent number: 9503862
Abstract: A method for providing a service provides for a service provider to provide information to a service demander. In order to produce the information, the service provider evaluates data that describe selected parameters along a journey route.
