  • Patent number: 7543792
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for adjusting a vehicle seat, the frame structure (4, 5, 6) of which can be adjusted using drive motors (40) having presupported gear units (39), and the vehicle seat is accommodated on two seat rails (1, 2) arranged parallel to each other. The frame structure (4, 5, 6) of the vehicle seat can be adjusted spherically using lifting elements (8, 9, 10) in two planes separated from each other.

  • Patent number: 6629732
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for adjusting a seat back (6) of a vehicle seat (4), in which a drive (9) that carries out adjusting processes is integrated. This acts on stagger gears (10, 22), with which the seat back (6) is moved within a range of inclination (13). A torsion element (24) is provided between the stagger gears (10, 22) that compensates the clearance in the stagger gears (10, 22) within a first range of adjustment (18) of the seat back (6) and functions as support for the driver motor within a further range of adjustment (19) of the seat back (6).

  • Patent number: 6570287
Abstract: The invention relates to a spring element (10) for compensating for axial play in a motor shaft of an electric motor. The invention proposes embodying such a spring element (10) out of plastic and of one piece with a stop disk (12), which is connected via spring arms (14) to a support foot (16), and placing it, along with the support foot (16), onto a support sleeve (18) with which the spring element (10) can be press-fitted onto the motor shaft. The invention has the advantage that it eliminates the axial play in the motor shaft of an electric motor with a spring element (10) that is inexpensive to manufacture and easy to install (FIG. 1).

  • Publication number: 20020135214
Abstract: The invention is based on an apparatus for adjusting a vehicle seat, the position of which can be adjusted via one or more geared motors (8, 38, 41, 42), wherein the geared motors (8, 38, 41, 42) can be actuated via a control (24). A vehicle seat underbody (3, 32, 45) is supported at at least three points by means of driven lifting spindles (16), driven guide bars (28, 39, 40) or sliding fixtures (34, 35, 43), wherein at least one support point (16, 29, 34) can be varied relative to the other remaining support points of the vehicle seat in such a fashion that a spherical seat adjustment results.

  • Patent number: 6340856
Abstract: In an electric motor, in particular a commutator motor, with a magnet body (24) disposed on a rotor shaft (12) in manner fixed against relative rotation for scanning the revolution and/or rpm, which magnet body has a carrier ring (26), seated with a press fit on the rotor shaft (12), and a multi-pole ring magnet (27) received by the carrier ring, in order to produce the carrier ring of metal for the sake of greater axial force transmission to the rotor shaft (12), the carrier ring (26) is embodied with a first annular portion for the press fit and with a second annular portion (262), adjacent to it in the axial direction, that has an inside diameter for receiving the ring magnet (27) that is greater than the outside diameter of the rotor shaft (12). As a result, the stresses caused by the press fit are not transmitted to the ring magnet (27), which is fragile (FIG. 1).

  • Patent number: 5346256
Abstract: Device for motorized movement of a safety belt in a motor vehicle from a stored position to a deployed position, has a drive including a pinion drivable in opposite rotation directions; a toothed rack meshing with the pinion and having a component part structured to loosely hold the safety belt at an end portion thereof, the component part being seated in an interior region of the motor vehicle when the safety belt is in the stored position and having an elongated guide carriage and toothed rack provided with a slide guide extending in a longitudinal direction in the toothed rack, the slide guide and the elongated guide carriage being structured so that the guide carriage is slidable in the slide guide; and a mechanism for displacing the component part relative to the toothed rack in a direction the component part moves during motion of the safety belt into the deployed position against a spring force.

  • Patent number: 4775167
Abstract: A device for controlling an extendable equipment part of a power vehicle such as a safety belt includes a guide member displaceable between two end positions. In order to enable a passenger in the car to easily adjust the safety belt the guide member is held on a stationary hinge by means of which the movement of a drive aggregate is translated into the pivoting motion of the guide member.
