  • Patent number: 6589032
Abstract: A pump and a pump piston assembly. The pump piston assembly includes a pump piston, a pump check valve, and a spring. The pump piston has a piston bore extending from a first piston end toward a second piston end. The pump check valve is positioned proximate the first piston end. The spring has an attached portion attached to the pump piston proximate the first piston end and has a biasing portion biasing the pump check valve to fluidly block the piston bore. The attached portion of the spring is closer to the second piston end than is the biasing portion of the sprint. The pump includes the pump piston assembly and a pump sleeve, wherein the pump piston is slidably engaged in the sleeve bore of the pump sleeve.

  • Patent number: 6302385
Abstract: A vibration isolation mount particularly usefull for a hydraulic automotive vehicle braking system includes a shear mount, a rate washer, and a bolt and nut for clamping the shear mount and rate washer together and to the vibrating member. The shear mount is shaped to engage an opening in a support structure, such as a mounting bracket, and thereby connect the vibrating member to the support. In automotive applications, the mount reduces the amount of noise and vibration that is transmitted to the passenger compartment over prior art mounting systems while restricting travel of the accumulator plate with respect to the vehicle bracket within predetermined limits.

  • Patent number: 5690319
Abstract: A turnable pneumatic suspension system is provided wherein proper air flow to the diaphragm is ensured through a charging route that is maintained in a securely sealed condition and which includes a nonrotatable point of attachment to a remote pressurization device. The pneumatic suspension system includes an air spring and a damper in combination, mounted to rotate relative to a vehicle with a dynamic seal provided between a nonrotatable seal ring and mating components of the air spring facilitating rotation of the suspension module while the entrance to the air charging route of the suspension module remains stationary.

  • Patent number: 5678810
Abstract: A pneumatic suspension system including an air spring in combination with a damper provides a way of mounting to a vehicle with a dual path mount. The air spring includes a canister in combination with a flexible element defining a variable pressure chamber. A mounting plate is captured about the canister by a nut. The nut has an air passageway for inflating and relieving the air spring and for providing a selectively open communicative path between the air spring and a remote volume that extends through the mount.
