  • Patent number: 9783301
Abstract: A handling system for handling objects in a vehicle comprises a storage apparatus that is positionable outside a vehicle cabin, an access device that is positionable in a vehicle cabin, and a transport device for transporting objects between the storage apparatus and the access device. The storage apparatus comprises a storage space and a connection station that is connectable to the transport device, wherein the storage apparatus comprises at least one drive device for moving carriers on which objects to be stored are held. The handling system comprises at least one guiding device that with the drive device guides the carriers on at least one circular path within the storage space. The storage space thus comprises a vertical flat shape that results in a significantly smaller reduction in the available cargo volume in a vehicle, while at the same time maximizing the design space available for passenger seats.

  • Patent number: 9085367
Abstract: A device for moving an object on a rail that has grid openings, the device having at least one first movement element, at least one first drive element, and at least one engagement element for engaging at least one grid opening. The engagement element is positioned on the first movement element. The first drive element for driving the first movement element is connected to the first movement element, and the first movement element is movably held in such a way that the engagement element is at least in some regions guided along an outside of the device. As a result of this an even force is directly introduced into the rail to prevent the object to be moved by sliding becoming skewed or jammed. Likewise, the device can be supplemented by a motor so moving the object can be carried out automatically, precisely, and quickly.

  • Patent number: 7037027
Abstract: A connection arrangement accommodates misalignments in three dimensions, and achieves a positive fixed connection between two components. A threaded standoff with a first bolt hole therein is partially screwed into a threaded hole in the first component and protrudes to match the spacing distance between the components. Inner and outer eccentric disks are received and supported in a hole in the second component. The inner disk has an offset center relative to the outer disk, and has a second bolt hole offset from the inner disk's center. Rotating the two disks accommodates radial misalignments to bring the two bolt holes into alignment. A bolt shaft extends through the bolt holes. While a bolt head or nut at one end of the shaft bears against the eccentric disks, a clamping cone at the opposite end of the shaft is tightened to axially clamp the standoff against the second component, and to radially outwardly spread and clamp the standoff against the internal threading of the first hole in the first component.

  • Patent number: 7011187
Abstract: A vibration damper including a damping element in a housing supports a component via a mounting bracket clamped between upper and lower plates after making horizontal adjustments. A hollow adjusting screw, a fixing screw and a counternut achieve a vertical adjustment, and a connection to the damping element. A hollow guide screw and an indicating pin axially slidably extending therethrough have visual alignment sights that indicate the vertical adjustment (via the adjusting screw) of the damping element relative to the housing, to facilitate achieving an optimal neutral loading of the damping element despite dimensional tolerances.

  • Patent number: 4523568
Abstract: A continuously operating fuel injection installation which includes an air-quantity measuring device in the suction pipe and a fuel-quantity distributor controlled thereby, is equipped for use with a multi-cylinder aircraft engine, with an auxiliary device that serves to achieve the best possible power output, fuel economy and flight safety; for that purpose, a height control pressure regulator is connected to the control pressure line leading to the fuel-quantity distributor in parallel to a warm-up regulator, which meters the control pressure and therewith the fuel admixture corresponding to the air density changing with temperature and pressure; by interconnecting a fixed throttle between the control pressure line and the fuel return line to the fuel tank, an emergency operation of the engine is assured in case of failure of both regulators.

  • Patent number: 4485788
Abstract: A fuel injection system for a multi-cylinder aircraft engine in which, in order to secure the fuel supply, a pressure-measuring device is connected to the feed line leading from the fuel tank to the fuel quantity distributor, into which are installed two parallel fuel pumps and a fuel filter; this pressure-measuring device in case of a predetermined pressure drop switches on the fuel pump which previously was not in operation; in case of an excessive pressure difference at the fuel filter which is measured by pressure-measuring device upstream and downstream of the filter, an electromagnetic valve installed into a bypass line to the fuel filter is opened; the soiling degree of the fuel filter is indicated by a hydraulically actuated difference pressure-measuring device with pressure limitation.
