The exercise device may include a connector engaged with the elongate member and the handle to secure the elongate member to the handle.

The yoke defining at least one passage sized to receive the webbing and to prevent the passage therethrough of the enlarged element to releasably secure the handle to the elongate member. The elongate member may comprise a plurality of elastic tubes braided together. Each of the elastic tubes may have an enlarged end for engaging the connector. The exercise device further including a sheath disposed over the webbing extending between the connector and the enlarged element. Said one passage sized to receive the sheath and the webbing.
