The supporting cables are connected to one another by a plurality of retaining frames.

The conveyor belt assembly is provided with support beams oriented transversely to the conveying direction and the support beams are supported on two endless conveyor cables disposed laterally outside the conveyor belt. The cables carry the loads created by the conveying of goods. The endless conveyor cables are also guided about the deflection drums and the transverse support beams are secured to the conveyor cables with spring-loaded clamp assemblies.
