  • Publication number: 20160347343
Abstract: A wheel fork, in particular for a jogger function of a multifunctional bicycle trailer, is provided with at least one fork arm, at the free end of which a dropout is formed to receive a wheel axle of a wheel. In one embodiment the dropout is equipped with a movable latch which can assume at least two positions, a first position where it is possible to fit the wheel axle in the dropout, and a second position where the latch blocks the opening of the dropout so that a wheel axle fitted in the dropout is held securely therein. In another embodiment the dropout is mounted on or in the tube end piece of the fork arm, such that it can be axially displaced and locked in position, so that the track of the wheel held by the wheel fork can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 6015139
Abstract: An anchor system for removably mounting a stanchion to a grating floor formed from spaced grating members comprising a plate having upper and lower surfaces, a mounting location on the upper surface for releasably supporting the stanchion, and at least one locking member extending from the lower surface to releasably lock the plate to the grating floor. The locking member is formed with an extension adapted for movement from a position that allows the extension to be introduced between and below the spaced grating member to a position in which extension engages beneath one or more grating members to lock the plate onto the grating floor.

  • Patent number: 5432259
Abstract: The pyrolysis of fluorine polymers leads to a high yield of pure fluorinated monomers if the finely divided polymer is introduced, with steam, into a fluidized bed reactor which contains an inert, granular material as the fluidized material, the steam functioning as the fluidizing gas.

  • Patent number: 5129997
Abstract: A process for the preparation of mixtures of chlorotetrafluoroethane and octafluorocyclobutane from the gas stream from the pyrolysis of chlorodifluoromethane at temperatures above 600.degree. C. is described in which the principal constituents tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene as well as hydrogen chloride are removed in advance. The mixtures are obtained by withdrawal as a side fraction during the rectifying distillation of the residue remaining, a clean separation of the perfluorocyclobutenes advantageously taking place. The mixtures are used for obtaining hexafluoropropylene by pyrolysis.

  • Patent number: 4622694
Abstract: A system for transmitting television signals on a radio link. The system includes a transmitter having a modulator for modulating a carrier signal to produce a vestigial sideband amplitude modulated signal for transmission. The modulator includes a first converter for converting the frequency of video signals to an intermediate frequency and a second converter for converting the intermediate frequency of the video signals to a radio frequency. The system further includes a receiver having a demodulator for demodulating a received vestigial sideband amplitude modulated signal. The modulator includes a Nyquist filter connected between the first and second converters, and the demodulator includes a filter having a rectangular characteristic for processing the signal to be demodulated.

  • Patent number: 4520492
Abstract: A method for determining the optimum sampling times in a quadrature phase shift keyed (QPSK) or quadrature amplitude modulated (QAM) received signal influenced by interference in the radio link between a transmitter and a receiver. The amplitudes of the two quadrature components of the received signal are compared in the receiver and the points in time at which the two amplitudes have the same magnitude are utilized as the sampling times.

  • Patent number: 4495477
Abstract: In a multi-phase modulation method in which digital words each having a word length of at least 3 bits control the generation of a modulated carrier in a manner such that each digital word value is associated with a particular amplitude and phase of the modulated carrier, and in which the modulated carrier is formed of a combination of three oscillating signals having identical frequencies, shifted in phase by 120.degree. relative to one another, and each having a selected amplitude, the digital words are associated with the oscillating signals in such a manner that a first group of digital words is represented only by modulated carrier phases which possess equal angular spacings in the 360.degree. phase plane and a plurality of further digital words is represented by a zero amplitude carrier formed by combining all three oscillating signals each having the identical selected amplitude or by suppressing all three oscillating signals.

  • Patent number: 4346479
Abstract: In order to compensate for nonlinearities introduced by a transmission member in a radio relay transmission system by means of a distortion converter stage, the converter stage is supplied with an intermediate frequency signal modulated with the useful signal, and with a local oscillator signal, a desired high frequency signal with its desired level is provided by a first mixing diode included in a first converter, a desired high frequency signal with a level below its desired level and with a phase shift is provided by a second mixing diode included in a second converter, the two high frequency signals are combined in a summing member, and the high frequency signal provided by the second converter is set by a level and phase controller so that the combined high frequency output signal has a distorted component whose amplitude coincides with the amplitude of the distorted signal component introduced by the transmission member but whose phase is in phase opposition with the latter.

  • Patent number: 4209748
Abstract: A directional radio system with single sideband operation for the transmission of a carrier frequency modulated single sideband signal in the intermediate frequency plane. In the transmitter, the intermediate frequency signal which contains the base band is provided with at least two pilot signals of different frequency and in the receiver a tuning criterion for the mixing oscillator of the receiver is derived from the frequency spacing of the received pilot signals and from the frequency shift of the received pilot signals produced by transmission of same over the radio links.
